In recent years,with the rapid development of the Internet,various electronic products have become obstacles for contemporary college students before bedtime,and sleep problems are increasing.The purpose of this study is to explore the current situation of anxiety susceptibility,sleep procrastination and sleep quality of college students and analyze the relationship between the three.When school activities allow during the COVID-19,group counseling intervention is carried out for students with high sleep procrastination,to reduce college students’ sleep procrastination,improve sleep quality,and explore future research and methods to improve sleep procrastination and sleep quality.Firstly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on 1030 college students from some universities in Sichuan,Yunnan,and other provinces using the Sleep Procrastination Scale,State Trait Anxiety Scale,and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Finger Scale.Collect data,analyze and sort them out,compare the differences and status quo of the three in demography,and analyze the relationship between the three.Secondly,a group counseling intervention study was conducted using an experimental design.Combining the results of a questionnaire survey with the theories of cognitive behavioral therapy and group motivation,an 8-week group counseling plan was designed.28 participants were randomly sampled and divided into two groups.After the intervention activity,two groups of participants were subjected to indicator post testing and data analysis was collected.Verify the feasibility and effectiveness of this intervention design by comparing the impact of sleep delay on sleep quality between groups.Research results: There are significant differences in anxiety susceptibility among college students in terms of professional categories and exercise time.There are significant differences in sleep procrastination in terms of gender,whether they are only children,and exercise time.There are significant differences in sleep quality between only children and physical exercise time.College students have a moderate level of anxiety susceptibility,while medical college students have a higher level of anxiety susceptibility than other professional categories.The sleep procrastination situation is in a moderate to high trend,and the sleep procrastination situation of girls is generally higher than that of boys;The sleep procrastination rate of only children is higher than that of not only children.The sleep quality of college students is average,with only children having poorer sleep quality than not only children.There is a positive correlation between anxiety susceptibility and sleep quality among college students,a positive correlation between sleep delay and sleep quality among college students,and a positive correlation between anxiety susceptibility and sleep delay among college students.Sleep procrastination plays a partial mediating role between anxiety susceptibility and sleep quality.Group psychological counseling with the theme of sleep procrastination can improve the situation of sleep procrastination among college students,reduce their sleep procrastination behavior to a certain extent,and improve sleep quality.
