A Report On Simulated Interpreting Practic Of 2021 Boao Tourism Development Forum

This report is based on a simulated simultaneous interpreting of “2021 Boao Tourism Development Forum”.The forum was held with the purpose to bring together elites from different fields at home and abroad to give advice on tourism industry under the pandemic,and to promote high-quality tourism development.The author selects parts of the contents for simulated simultaneous interpreting practice.From the perspective of effort model of interpreting proposed by Daniel Gile,this report attempts to analyze the interpreting techniques used in the simulated simultaneous interpreting with many cases,and puts forward some solutions to the problems encountered.This report includes a description of the interpreting task,relevant preparations,theoretical framework,case studies and a summary after interpreting.Through this simulated simultaneous interpreting,the author finds that effort model can greatly help interpreters use interpreting techniques to solve the problems encountered.The author hopes that this report can provide some new ideas for the self-improvement of interpreter...
