A Report On The Simultaneous Interpreting Task For Luneng Group's News Conference In Wenchang

The dissertation is a report on the author's interpreting task for Luneng Group's News Conference in Wenchang.The report focuses on some keynote speeches of the conference with the help of case study,making a summary of the problems and difficulties in the interpreting practice under the guide of Gile's effort model.Attempts are also made to discuss the corresponding interpreting and coping strategies.In the task description part,the author reviews the general picture of the interpreting task and makes a specific description of the pre-task preparation,covering background knowledge collection,glossary preparation,simulation exercises and an emergency plan.The following chapter features case studies,categorizing and analyzing the problems and difficulties in the interpreting through typical examples from both long-term preparations and on-site coping skills.Based on the example analysis the author tries to locate different interpreting strategies for the difficulties,thus making well-coordinated attentional capacity and then well-performed interpreting tasks possible.
