As a social practice activity aimed at cultivating people ’s all-round development,education has been interfered and infiltrated by the capital market in the process of rapid development of social economy and culture.Compared with the mainstream education based on schools,shadow education based on extracurricular tutoring can highlight the influence of capital in the field of education.In recent years,with the increasing pressure of competition in China ’s higher education,the shadow education based on extracurricular tutoring and art training has developed rapidly.The continuous expansion of its quantity and scale has attracted high social attention,and people ’s acceptance and recognition have been further deepened.However,while people are keen on shadow education products under this market consumption behavior,it also highlights a series of social problems.In July 2021,China implemented a " double reduction " policy for the governance of off-campus training institutions as soon as possible.At the same time,with the development of urbanization,the problem of spatial difference of educational capitalization of shadow education is further highlighted.The problem of educational capitalization of shadow education has attracted the attention of pedagogy,economics and sociology.However,there are relatively few studies on the spatial difference of educational capitalization of shadow education from the perspective of geography.Therefore,this paper takes the main urban area of Chengdu as the research area,and uses nuclear density estimation method,inverse distance weighting analysis,Tyson polygon analysis method,location quotient and geographic detector research methods.Firstly,the shadow education status of the main urban area of Chengdu is studied and analyzed from three modules : spatial agglomeration,type structure and professional level.Then,with the help of commercial land price and housing price,the spatial difference characteristics of education capitalization in the main urban area of Chengdu are deeply studied and analyzed.Finally,the factors affecting the spatial difference of education capitalization in the main urban area of Chengdu are analyzed in depth.The main conclusions are as follows :(1)From the perspective of the spatial agglomeration characteristics of shadow education,both comprehensive shadow education and various types of shadow education show a decreasing spatial quantity distribution from the central city to the peripheral city.In terms of density,comprehensive shadow education and various types of shadow education show the characteristics of " dense central areas in central urban areas and peripheral urban areas,and sparse areas in peripheral urban areas." From the perspective of the type structure characteristics of shadow education,on the whole,it is mainly based on the improvement of cultural and artistic quality,and the curriculum guidance and art training occupy the dominant position,and the dominant type of shadow education in each district has a certain correlation with the urban function.From the perspective of the characteristics of the professional level of shadow education,there are significant differences in the professional level of various types of shadow education at the street level.The professional level of the central urban area and the central area of the peripheral urban area is higher.The location quotient of the peripheral urban area and its township streets far from the urban center is less than 1,and the professional level is low.(2)From the perspective of commercial service land price,the spatial difference of educational capitalization with shadow education as the carrier is deeply affected by commercial service land price.The spatial difference characteristics of educational capitalization with commercial service land price as the reference are basically in line with the spatial distribution law of urban land price,that is,the overall spatial distribution characteristics of educational capitalization are weakening from the central urban area to the peripheral urban area,and the educational capitalization based on different types of shadow education also presents such spatial distribution characteristics.From the perspective of housing prices,the spatial difference of education capitalization in the main urban area of Chengdu based on shadow education is generally closely related to the level of housing prices.The high-value areas of housing prices are densely distributed with shadow education institutions.The spatial difference of education capitalization with shadow education as the carrier is deeply affected by housing prices,and the education capitalization with shadow education as the carrier shows a deeper degree of core urban areas in space.With the spatial distribution extension trend of housing prices and shadow education,the degree of capitalization also has the same extension trend.The number of shadow education institutions is small and scattered,and the degree of educational capitalization is small.Different types of educational capitalization also show this spatial distribution trend.(3)From the perspective of the influencing factors of spatial differences in education capitalization,the results of single-factor detection show that demographic factors such as resident population and population age structure,mainstream education such as the number of students and teachers,and economic factors such as residents ’income and the number of large shopping malls have the highest explanatory power for spatial differences in education capitalization.The interaction factor has a significant explanatory power on the spatial difference of educational capitalization.Among them,demographic factors,residents ’ ability to pay,mainstream education and business prosperity are the main factors affecting the spatial difference of educational capitalization.
