Using Eviews statistical software,guided by the methodology of spatial measurement,Standard Deviation and Coefficient of Variation,Quotient of Location,Extend Linear Expenditure System,and Vector autoregression were used.Based on the statistical yearbook data of Liaoning Province from 2007 to 2016,the cultural consumption differences of urban residents in Liaoning Province are analyzed from two dimensions of time and space.The results show that:(1)From the perspective of time characteristics: First,the level of cultural consumption of urban residents in Liaoning Province increased,but the proportion of total consumption expenditure was relatively low;Second,in the ten years,the cultural consumption of urban residents in Liaoning Province increased in fluctuations,and the relative differences decreased in fluctuations.(2)From the perspective of spatial characteristics,one is that the cultural consumption is not balanced;second,the demand elasticity of cultural consumption of urban residents in 14 prefecture-level cities in Liaoning Province is relatively large,and the demand difference is significant.Based on the analysis of the current situation of cultural consumption of urban residents in Liaoning Province,the factors that influence cultural consumption are analyzed in terms of market factors,policy factors,and geographical factors.The market factors can be further divided into supply factors,demand factors,and price factors.O n the basis of quantification,combined with the characteristics of Liaoning Province,four indicators were chosen: Urban residents' cultural,educational,entertainment and service consumption expenditures,Per capita disposable income of urban residents,C ulture,education and entertainment investment in fixed assets,and cultural and educational entertainment supplies and services price index,to construct a VAR model.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Per capita disposable income,which represents the demand factor,is the most crucial factor influencing cultural consumption.It has a positive effect on the cultural consumption of urban residents;(2)Culture,education and entertainment fixed assets representing supply factors.The amount of investment will also have a positive impact on cultural consumption;(3)There is a clear inverse relationship between the price index of cultural and educational entertainment products and services that represent price factors and the cultural consumption of urban residents,and the higher the price of cultural products,the smaller the demand for cultural consumption.According to the analysis of the spatial and temporal differences and the influencing factors of urban residents' cultural consumption in Liaoning Province,a series of measures and suggestions for promoting the cultural consumption demand of Liaoning Province are proposed in order to provide theoretical support for the development of the cultural industry in Liaoning Province.
