As the teaching focus and difficulty of International Chinese Education,Chinese characters teaching has also undergone a series of discussions and researches.Daugavpils University attaches great importance to the teaching of Chinese characters,making Chinese character courses a basic compulsory course in the first year.In the initial survey of teaching,we found that the school’s teaching of Chinese characters for zero-based Chinese learners has problems such as lack of systematic theoretical guidance and insufficient students’ cognition of Chinese characters.This action research is divided into two rounds,the first round of action research on the basis of investigation and attribution,with the lack of systematic Chinese character teaching theory as the guide and the lack of overall cognition of Chinese characters as a problem in teaching and students,helped learners gradually establish the overall cognition of Chinese characters through the construction of a systematic strokes,components,whole character knowledge system,and achieved great results.But in the process,it also exposed the problem that not all the contents of the theory of Chinese characters formation are applicable to the teaching of Chinese characters.The second round of action research started from this problem and classified and selected the constituent elements of Chinese character construction theory,and achieved satisfactory results too.Through the comparison of two rounds of action research before and after tests and questionnaire evaluation,the students were obviously more adaptable to Chinese characters learning,and significantly improved the recognition and combination of Chinese character components,the cognition of configuration and writing attributes,and this action completed an attempt and exploration of Chinese character formation theory in the application of Chinese characters teaching.On this basis,this paper summarizes and reflects on this action research,and puts forward enlightenment from three aspects: systematic teaching,scientific teaching and interesting teaching.
