The specialized momentum words in modern Chinese are one of the key and difficult points for Cambodian Chinese school students in the process of acquiring Chinese.This article conducts a study on the bias of Chinese specific momentum words among Cambodian students.The research focuses on middle school students from Guangzhao schools in Cambodia,with HSK3-4 levels.This article compares and analyzes the semantic differences between Chinese and Cambodian momentum words,and analyzes the types and reasons of students’ errors in learning Chinese specialized momentum words based on the data collected from the survey questionnaire,and proposes teaching suggestions.The research methods of this article are literature survey,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey,and bias analysis.Firstly,compare the meanings of Chinese specialized momentum words with Cambodian momentum words;Collect student data using survey questionnaires;Summarize the types of errors in students’ acquisition of Chinese specialized momentum words,mainly including substitution errors,omission errors,addition errors,and order errors.This article believes that the main reasons for errors are negative transfer of mother tongue,negative transfer of target language knowledge,and interference from learning and communication strategies;Students overlook the learning of momentum words,and teachers’ teaching methods are monotonous and inflexible.Finally,suggestions were made for different types of errors.The suggestion for addressing misplacement is that teachers should strengthen the comparative analysis between Chinese and Cambodian momentum words and between Chinese momentum words;The suggestion for addressing the omission is that teachers should introduce chunk teaching to help students establish a sense of chunk chain;The suggestion for addressing errors is that teachers should summarize the collocation patterns of Chinese specialized momentum words and the grammatical characteristics of momentum words during teaching;The suggestion for addressing misorder is for teachers to use the chunk teaching method to teach sentences and indicate their structural form.
