Research On Local Government’s Response Behavior Based On Televised Politics

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China requires that the grass-roots democratic system should be continuously improved,and the people’s right to participate in social governance and to supervise the effect of social governance should be guaranteed.Therefore,how to improve the government’s responsiveness has become the key content and direction of the administrative reform of governments at all levels.With the launch of TV political programs in various places,the government can use this to respond and give feedback to the reasonable demands of the public,and it is more convenient for the public to participate in social governance,but it also exposes that the local government still has shortcomings in administrative management and responding to the public.and short boards.In recent years,the popularity of TV political programs in my country has been decreasing.The active cycle of TV political programs in various regions is relatively short.It can be seen that local governments do not pay enough attention to TV political consulting and responding to the public.Using New Public Service Theory and Government Response Theory,combined with selected cases from TV political investigations,this paper analyzes the state of government response at different stages in the entire process of TV political inquiries.There are problems such as passive and perfunctory response attitude,passive delay in response behavior,insufficient response ability and poor response effect etc.By drawing on relevant literature theories,and according to the problems found and the causes of the problems,we are trying to put forward countermeasures and proposals to improve the government’s response:first,improve the government’s own construction,change the traditional concept of the government’s passive response,actively respond to people’s needs,and improve according to the current situation.The ability of government officials to respond,expand the scope of the main body of response in TV politics,and increase grass-roots officials to respond to the public;the second is to strengthen public participation and promotion.The public as the object of government response is an important driving force for government response,and there is a need to change public awareness of participation,to enhance people’s ability and enthusiasm to participate in social governance,and to encourage government to respond more to the people;the third is to improve the long-term response mechanism,improve the response mechanism through the system,formulate an assessment response incentive mechanism and an accountability and punishment mechanism,and from the institutional level to the TV.The government in China should respond to the standard,and promote the construction of a service-oriented government and a responsive government.
