The essential purpose of education is to cultivate talents for the country and society.Talent education and training must conform to the current social conditions and future development trends,so as to better drive economic development and social progress.Therefore,no matter when and to what extent education progresses,matching with social development is the only way for educational development.Vocational education has been improving its position in recent decades,so the attention of secondary vocational education has been continuously improved,and many excellent talents with high ability,high quality and high skills have been trained to return to the society.The rule of law has been gradually promoted,and the teaching of criminal law has become an indispensable part of the curriculum in daily teaching.In the criminal law course of legal affairs major in secondary vocational schools,this course conveys the mainstream values of society and plays a great role in improving students’ criminal law thought,so as to urge students to become law-abiding citizens.The criminal law course of legal affairs major in secondary vocational school is both theoretical and practical.As an important part of the criminal law course of legal affairs major in secondary vocational school,practical teaching helps students improve their initiative to learn,so as to improve the efficiency of educational work.As far as the current situation is concerned,the practical teaching activities of criminal law course of legal affairs major in secondary vocational schools have begun to take effect,and the research on practical teaching method has also made a breakthrough,which has been unanimously recognized and helped by teachers and students.However,in terms of specific implementation,there is still a lack of in-depth discussion on practical teaching method,which will lead to the teaching effect not reaching the ideal expectation in some cases,The phenomenon of "emphasizing theoretical teaching and neglecting practical teaching" still exists in teaching activities.It is concluded that it is of great significance to actively explore the application of the practical teaching method in the legal affairs major of secondary vocational schools in the course of criminal law.After a new round of curriculum reform,principles and practice of criminal law is an important course of legal affairs in secondary vocational schools and a professional course of law for secondary vocational students.As we all know,most secondary vocational students are not good at cultural learning and are in adolescence.Their nature is unrestrained.However,without proper guidance in the process of education,they may break the law due to some trivial problems in life.The main content of the criminal law course in secondary vocational schools will directly affect the cultivation of students’ legal ability and legal thought.Practical teaching method is a very suitable model.Focus on the teaching of professional ethics and legal knowledge,so that students will have a deeper understanding of the rule of law,ethics and professional concepts,and provide more in-depth guidance for the formation of students’ comprehensive professional ability.
