Dynamic Changes And Reconstruction Strategies Of Social Support Network Of Old Veterans

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the issue of special care and placement for retired soldiers has been raised to a new level.General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized that we must pay close attention to the placement of retired soldiers,and proposed that "retirement will not fade,and soldiers must become a profession respected by the whole society." At present,our country has entered a period of rapid development of an aging society.The soldiers who threw their heads and shed their blood have also entered the period of old age.Based on the theory of social support network,this paper uses the investigation and analysis method of oral history,and takes the elderly veterans in Chongqing as the research object.From the four stages of "before joining the army-military camp life-employment after retirement-after retirement",this paper presents the social support network picture of old veterans in different stages in a retrospective way,and analyzes its dynamic change process..The study found that: from before joining the army to retirement,the scale of the social support network of old veterans showed a trend of "shrinking-expanding-then shrinking";the existing veterans can be roughly divided into three categories,namely ordinary veterans,military veterans Retired cadres and lonely veterans of the Honorary Academy have different social support networks after retirement,forming a social support network dominated by blood ties for ordinary retired veterans,and a society dominated by industry ties for retired military cadres The support network is a social support network based on geographical relations for the lonely veterans of the Glory Academy.At the same time,the support network for the three types of veterans entering the old age stage highlights a series of common characteristics: that is,the scale of support is constantly shrinking,the main body of support tends to be homogenous,and the content of support With the loss of the network,the strength of the social support network has even been "broken" and unsustainable.Finally,according to the problem definition of the elderly veterans,the current situation assessment of the social support network and the analysis of their needs,in view of the lack of social support networks in different systems,this paper adopts a professional social work service model and takes the differentiated social support network needs as the guide to assist the elderly.Retired soldiers rebuild and enrich their social support network in terms of tool support,emotional support,information support,etc.:that is,to improve government policy support and expand mutual assistance among friends,so as to enhance the support network of ordinary retired veterans;Strengthen the support of relatives based on the community,so as to enhance the support network for retired military cadres;Connect social resources,integrate and optimize family ties,so as to maintain the support network of the veterans of Guangrong hospital.
