Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of J City Science And Technology Museum Science Service Supply Under The Background Of "Double Reduction" Policy

In July 2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council jointly issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Homework and Out-of-School Training on Students in Compulsory Education(the "Double Reduction" policy),which provides new opportunities for science museums and other popular science venues to strengthen their after-school science popularisation activities for young people.How to provide unique after-school campus services and out-of-school activities during holidays,and effectively fill the gap of after-school extended hours programmes in schools,is an important challenge for science and technology museums.Therefore,it is particularly necessary for science and technology museums to enhance the effectiveness of public science services and effectively carry out science education.This is not only the trend,but also a necessary step to enrich their business,build brand activities,assume social responsibility and effectively improve the quality of science for young people.In this paper,based on the new public service theory and public goods theory,the current situation of science popularization service supply in science and technology museums in city J is studied and analyzed by using interview method,questionnaire survey method and case study method,and the problems in the supply of science popularization service in science and technology museums in city J are summarized as follows The problems in the supply of science popularization services in J City Science and Technology Museum are as follows:single content and form,small coverage of science popularization services,quality of science popularization services to be improved,and imbalance between the supply and demand of science popularization services.Further analysis of the main reasons for the above-mentioned problems:insufficient awareness and capacity of active services,inadequate communication and coordination between supply and demand,inadequate integration of resources,and imperfect supply system protection.In view of the problems of J City Science and Technology Museum,drawing on the experience and inspiration of the supply of popular science services in domestic science venues,try to put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:First,strengthen the supply capacity.Specifically,strengthen the construction of personnel teams and improve the level of science popularization information technology.Second,strengthen demand orientation.Specifically,through the demand expression and feedback mechanism to achieve accurate supply;strengthen the communication between museums and schools to create targeted special services.Third,effective integration of science popularisation resources.Specifically,building a shared service platform and creating branded activities jointly by multiple entities.Fourth,improve and perfect the supply system.Specifically,improve the funding guarantee mechanism and improve the supervision and evaluation mechanism.The purpose of this paper is to study the supply of science popularization services under the"double reduction" policy of J City Science and Technology Museum,to provide some countermeasures and suggestions for other science and technology museums and even public cultural venues to optimize their own service supply,and to provide some feasible ideas for the "double reduction" policy to be effective on the ground.
