Research On The Supply Of Popular Science Services In Urban Communities

At the same time of rapid economic development,the state is constantly adjusting its development strategy and putting forward a strategic plan to promote development through innovation in order to build a strong cultural country.The implementation of this strategy is inseparable from the development of science and technology and the improvement of the cultural literacy of the whole people.At present,the work of science popularization is steadily advancing.The government has taken measures to escort the work of science popularization from the legal,policy and financial aspects.Especially in the context of the accelerated urbanization of the country,urban communities,as an important part of citizens'life and work,should take the initiative to undertake the work of citizens' science popularization.However,the work of popular science is still facing many difficulties,especially with the development of society,the consciousness of citizen subject is constantly awakening,which is manifested in the fact that the degree of differentiation among individuals is even greater in the demand of popular science products,thus forming the main contradiction between supply and demand,that is,a single supply dominated by the government is difficult to meet the diversified demand.To resolve this contradiction,we should constantly change our thinking according to the actual situation,break through the constraints of the original supply mode of popular science,and establish a new diversified supply system.Based on the theory of public management,this paper uses the methods of literature analysis,case analysis and interviews to study the supply of popular science services in urban communities of Beilin District,Xi'an.Through the concrete analysis of its current situation,this paper explores the problems existing in its specific practice process,and makes a theoretical analysis of the causes of these problems.Combining the relevant theoretical research and the advanced experience at home and abroad,this paper puts forward some further suggestions on improving the supply of popular science services in urban communities of Beilin District.The research process of this topic can be divided into five parts:(1)Establish the research background and significance of this topic,according to the analysis of the relevant research status at home and abroad,sort out the general research ideas,and find out possible innovations;(2)Strengthen the study of relevant theories of public management,such as public goods theory.It lays a good theoretical foundation for further research.By studying the theory and combining with specific research topics,this paper defines the relevant concepts of the supply of popular science services in urban communities.(3)Collect objective statistical data on the supply of popular science services in urban communities of Beilin District,Xi'an City,and analyze its current situation from a quantitative point of view.It mainly includes three aspects:supply content,supply mode and supply effect.(4)On the basis of the analysis of the current situation,combined with interviews with popular science workers,this paper explores the problems existing in the current supply situation and makes an analysis.(5)Based on the previous analysis,this paper grasps the main contradiction between single supply and diversification of demand,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on improving the supply of popular science services in urban communities of Beilin District of Xi'an City from the perspectives of cognitive level,government functions,fund-raising channels and corresponding supporting mechanism construction.
