Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Prison Organs In Dealing With Prison Related Network Public Opinion

Prisons are a subsidiary of the state and arise with the emergence of the state.Since its inception,prisons naturally have the responsibility assigned by the state,society,and class to maintain national security and social stability,effectively punish and correct criminals.However,in recent years,with the profound changes in the economic and social fields and the popularization of the Internet,the internet has gradually become the main platform for the public to express their opinions and demands.The scope of dissemination of online public opinion is becoming wider and its impact is also increasing.The law enforcement environment in prisons has also undergone profound changes,and the deficiencies and drawbacks of the current prison public opinion management system are becoming increasingly apparent.Therefore,building and improving the management system for handling prison related online public opinion crises,creating a good social and online public opinion environment for prison work,is an urgent and arduous task faced by current prison authorities and government departments.This article first defines the four core concepts of prison,public opinion,online public opinion,and prison related online public opinion,and explains the theoretical analysis framework used in this article,namely the risk amplification theory and the crisis management 4R model.Secondly,based on the national conditions of our country,the overall status,types,causes,characteristics,and action logic of prison related network public opinion management in China were elaborated in detail.Then,based on this,the risk amplification theory and crisis management 4R model analysis framework were applied.Taking the Rencheng prison related network public opinion event in Shandong Province as an example,combined with prison work practice,Analyzed the difficulties encountered by Chinese prison authorities in handling prison related online public opinion incidents,as well as the root causes of these difficulties.Finally,specific strategies that are in line with the reality and operability of China’s prison authorities are proposed from three perspectives:establishing a prison related network public opinion monitoring and crisis warning system;Properly handle the aftermath of prison related online public opinion crises;Improve the comprehensive quality of prison teams in responding to online public opinion.This article attempts to start from specific cases and apply relevant theories of public management to systematically explain the problems and reasons that exist in China’s prison authorities when facing prison related online public opinion,and provide corresponding countermeasures.This can provide a certain theoretical basis and reference value for the public opinion management work of prison authorities.
