| In the new era,the public security team has a wide range of responsibilities,complicated affairs,complicated law enforcement environment,and uncertain work and rest time,which lead to a great negative impact on the job satisfaction of the police.Therefore,how to improve the police’s job satisfaction has become an important subject.Based on the analysis of the police job satisfaction in H city,this paper tries to find out the problems in the incentive mechanism for police officers in H city and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.It is hoped to have some reference significance for the team management of the national public security police.Based on the research on the theory of incentive mechanism and job satisfaction,this paper also adopts four ways to investigate the police’s job satisfaction and incentive mechanism,including questionnaire,interview,data collection and statistical analysis.Based on the investigation of H city’s public security department,this paper designs a questionnaire of incentive mechanism and job satisfaction,which distributed to 226 policemen in the public security department of H City Public Security Bureau,and finally 208 valid questionnaires were collected.This paper also randomly selects interview subjects from the questionnaire to discuss the understanding and feeling of the police’s current work status and the current incentive mechanism,understand the current implementation of the incentive mechanism,and put forward suggestions on the unsatisfactory aspects.Through qualitative and quantitative methods,this paper analyzes the degree of job satisfaction and the cognition of incentive mechanism of the police in H city.The results show that the police are satisfied with the leadership care,the sense of achievement and the interpersonal relationship,which reflects that the working atmosphere of the police is relatively good;while the salary is not matched with the workload,the time of rest is not enough and the social status is not high,those aspects above have a negative impact for the police work satisfaction.Based on the above,the paper concludes that there are four problems in the current incentive mechanism: incomplete incentive system,unscientific work and rest arrangement,unreasonable promotion system,and imperfect education and training system.In order to optimize the incentive mechanism for police officers,in view of the above problems reflected,it is pointedly put forward that the work satisfaction of police shall be effectively improved by optimizing the philosophy of the incentive system,intensifying publicity,improving job security support,perfecting the performance appraisal and reward mechanism and perfecting the education and training system. |
