Research On Government Supervision Of Farmers’ Market

Since its birth,farmers’ markets have been endowed with strong public welfare and livelihood attributes.As the main place for people to buy daily necessities,farmers’ markets are not only related to the "vegetable basket",but also a perspective mirror reflecting social hot spots and management difficulties.They are also an important window to highlight the image and taste of the city,and a backstop project for the government to improve the level of social and economic development and improve people’s livelihood.The supervision effect of farmers’ market directly reflects the comprehensive management level of a city.In recent years,under the background of social transformation and economic structural adjustment,farmers’ markets in various places have been significantly improved in terms of hardware infrastructure and market operating environment,and the market construction and management system have also been greatly developed.But at the same time,many problems have been exposed.The government’s supervision of farmers’ markets has encountered blocking points and difficulties,including: The market management system is not perfect,the authority of the regulatory subject is unclear,the regulatory laws and regulations are lagging behind,the law enforcement means is single,these constraints have brought huge challenges to the long-term development of the farmers’ market,and the relevant government functional departments are also facing unprecedented tests.In view of the dilemma of government supervision of farmers’ markets,this paper,based on the relevant literature at home and abroad,takes the relevant theories of government supervision as the entry point,takes the farmers’ market of Qingtian County,Zhejiang Province as the carrier,and carries out a systematic analysis of the government supervision of Qingtian County farmers’ market through field research,interview and other forms,and finds that there are still some deficiencies in the current government supervision of farmers’ markets.For example,the regulatory body is not clear,the regulatory team is weak,the government management mechanism has defects,the management concept and the traditional mode lag and so on.Through systematic analysis,it is concluded that the internal reasons for this series of government supervision dilemma are: the supervision laws and regulations of farmers’ market are not perfect,the supervision system is defective,the supervision force is weak,and the government has a misunderstanding of the supervision of farmers’ market.Finally,in order to solve the current regulatory dilemma,combined with the local situation and the role of government functions,put forward specific measures to strengthen the government supervision of Qingtian farmers’ market,mainly including: improve laws and regulations,improve the regulatory mechanism,strengthen the regulatory force,improve the understanding of government supervision,strengthen policy support and other countermeasures and suggestions.We will work hard to improve the efficiency of government oversight,build government credibility,maintain market order,and help urbanization reform and development,so as to promote social harmony and stability.
