As a vulnerable group in the society,the disabled often face many obstacles in employment.According to the academic view,social support is dependent on the relationship network formed by the contact between individuals and others,which can help the disabled to solve the existing employment dilemma.During my internship in social work institutions,the author paid attention to the problem of "increasing employment needs of persons with disabilities",which led to the thinking of "whether the main body of employment support for persons with disabilities also tends to be diversified" and "whether the existing employment support forces for persons with disabilities really play a role",hoping to understand the reality of employment support for persons with disabilities through specific research.Therefore,based on the conditions of the social work institution where the author works,the author selects some disabled persons registered in F District of W City as the interview objects,and understands that their employment support needs include skill support,service support,emotional support and psychological support,and there are many support subjects involved.Therefore,the author combines the social support theory,This paper analyzes the main body of employment support for the disabled in F District,W City from three levels of formal support,informal support and support for the disabled themselves,and combines professional advantages to select social workers as the foothold to solve the mode dilemma,so as to give full play to the professional value of social work and create a new situation of the development of diverse and integrated support forces for the disabled.The study found that the employment support for the disabled in District F of W City was due to the government’s weak implementation,the lack of resources of the disabled persons’ federation,the reduced economic benefits of enterprises,the limited level of community functions,the lack of responsibility of social workers,the limited energy of family members,the limited ability of neighbors and the lack of competitiveness of the disabled.There are some problems,such as formal support is only a formality,informal support is limited by appearance and its own support is limited by prejudice.In order to help the disabled to improve their employment support predicament,the author combined with the characteristics of social work,from improving social work capacity,strengthening policy publicity,linking service resources,providing relationship adjustment and channelling the emotions of the disabled and other aspects,tried to establish contact with various subjects,help the disabled to strengthen the employment support network,in order to break the original shackles,enhance the social inclusion of the disabled.Weaken the employment plight of the disabled.
