| As a special social group,the police have high-intensity,high-risk,and high-pressure work characteristics,This determines the group faces more prominent psychological pressures than other ordinary members of the society.According to relevant statistical surveys conducted by domestic scholars,among all stressful occupations,the psychological stress index suffered by the police ranks the highest.Female police,especially young female police officers,play a very important role in work and life.In work,they must meet the social expectations of being "people’s public servants".In life,they must meet the family expectations of being "good wives and good mothers".At the same time,faced with the rising self-expectation of women’s career development,the needs of many social roles make the young female police group bear more pressure than other male police groups to a certain extent.Therefore,it is an important research topic to pay attention to and attach importance to the stress of young female police officers,and to improve and do a good job of stress management of young female police officers.This study firstly expounds the theories of stressor,stress response and stress coping,management and sociology theories by referring to the existing literature,as the theoretical basis for conducting empirical research.Then,on the basis of the literature method and interview method,a stress survey questionnaire for young female public security officers in city A was compiled,and160 young female public security officers in city A were investigated.The content involves professional values,work Life stressors,physical and mental health,and job satisfaction.After analyzing and processing the survey data through SPSS 26.0statistical software,the following empirical research conclusions are drawn:First,the pressure of young female police officers in City A of Jiangsu Province is mainly work pressure,which is specifically manifested in work intensity and work risk.There are also significant differences in job stress in police age,marital status,and job titles..Second,the physical and mental health of young female police officers in City A is currently good,but it cannot be ignored.Third,the heavy work pressure of young female police officers in A city is also an important reason that affects their physical and mental health and job satisfaction.Physical and mental health has the highest correlation with work stress,followed by job satisfaction.Finally,on the basis of empirical research,a series of countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to the young female police officers in A city from three angles: social level,organizational level and personal level,aiming at alleviating their work pressure,improving their physical and mental health,and further improving the stress management level of individuals and institutions. |
