| Mobility is one of the important characteristics of modern cities.Since the reform and opening up,the flow rate of Chinese population has been accelerating, and more and more migrant workers have entered the city and become the new residents of the city.Community space is the basic carrier for people to carry out production and living activities in the city.Community space gathers various element resources and is the foothold of migrant workers in the city.It plays an important role in the integration and settlement of migrant workers in the city. However,at present, most community spaces have a certain degree of exclusion and migrant workers cannot fully integrate into the city. How migrant workers can really stay in the city and realize employment and settlement in the city is an important issue that cannot be ignored in the process of promoting the new urbanization with people as the core. This thesis focuses on the special group of migrant workers, based on the spatial dimension, and takes the spatial governance of the community where migrant workers live as an important entry point.Under the guidance of the theory of space production,Tianrui Community in Chengdu is selected as a case study to explore the hidden space production mechanism behind Tianrui Community as a new industrial community.Through the collation and analysis of the interview texts and literature,it is found that the space is mainly formed by the government, the market and migrant workers under the guidance of power, capital and life logic respectively.Migrant workers living in community space are trapped in the dilemma of living space separation, lack of public space and lack of psychological space. After exploring the spatial production mechanism, this thesis focuses on the influence of community spatial quality on the urban settlement intention of migrant workers. With the support of the environmental stress theory, the research results at home and abroad are sorted out,and an analytical framework of "community space quality-self-esteem-urban settlement intention" is constructed.Through the investigation and research of migrant workers in Tianrui community,it is found that the community space quality has a positive and significant impact on migrant workers’ urban settlement intention,in which self-esteem plays a partial intermediary role.Based on the above analysis, guided by the theory of collaborative governance, this thesis carries out reasonable thinking from the dialectical angle of "institutional space-physical space-emotional space",and proposes the following optimization countermeasures: firstly,at the macro level, rational spatial planning and governance innovation should be carried out, including adhering to the people-oriented approach and rationally formulating urban spatial planning;adhering to local conditions and innovative industrial community governance mechanism.Secondly,on the meso level, further improve the spatial quality of migrant workers’ communities, including building livable community living space to meet diverse needs;building a good community public space and shape a close neighborhood relationship.Thirdly,at the micro level, accelerate the creation of emotional space belonging to migrant workers, including carrying out special community practice activities to improve integration ability;creating a warm community emotional space to promote social integration. |
