| As a powerful tool to construct the national image,national publicity film can play a vital role in spreading the true,comprehensive and three-dimensional image of China,and it has been paid more and more attention in the publicity work in recent years.How to shape and spread a good national image on the international stage with the help of national image propaganda films and improve the international discourse power has become increasingly urgent.Based on this,from the perspective of diachronic research,this study takes Chinese national image propaganda films so far as the main research object,adopts text analysis method,case analysis method and literature research method as the main research methods,and uses narrate theory,cross-cultural communication theory and other relevant theories to study the narrative strategies used by Chinese national image propaganda films in constructing and shaping national image.Analyze the image of China created by it.This study is divided into five parts.The first part mainly through literature retrieval and data collation,the national image,national image propaganda film and narratology theory are summarized,and the development process of national image propaganda film is divided into initial stage,development stage and deepening stage.The second part studies the national image propaganda films in the initial stage,uses narratology theory to analyze its narrative strategy and the national image created,and discusses its shortcomings.The third part focuses on the national image propaganda film in the development stage,studies its narrative strategy,summarizes the Chinese image constructed in this stage and analyzes its predicament.The fourth part studies the national image propaganda films in the deepening stage,analyzes the narrative strategies they use,explores the Chinese image they create and summarizes their current predicament.The last part expounds the transformations occurred during the development course of national image propaganda film of our country,explores the causes and puts forward some strategies and suggestions in the future creation and communication of national image propaganda film of our country.This study found three changes: First,China’s national image propaganda films in shaping China’s image from a single,one-sided image gradually shifted to a multidimensional,comprehensive and three-dimensional image.Secondly,throughout the whole development process of the national image publicity film of our country,at the level of the consciousness of national image shaping,from the initial vague unconscious state of national image shaping,to today completely presents a strong and active consciousness of shaping.In terms of narrative strategy,it also presents a change of means from single to multiple.The purpose of this study is to provide instructive suggestions for constructing and disseminating a good Chinese image in China’s national image propaganda films,so as to better,more scientifically and more accurately use narrative skills to organize discourse,shape and construct a positive Chinese image,and realize the cross-cultural communication of Chinese discourse. |
