Since the new era,with the rapid development of urbanization and rural economy,there are still many unbalanced developments in society.Problems such as backward rural infrastructure,slow agricultural development,and low production quality and ability of farmers have severely restricted the rural,agricultural and farmers’ Modernization process.Further narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas and promoting "rural revitalization" and "coordinated development of urban and rural areas" have become the main social governance tasks that urgently need to be completed in the new era.At present,the "urban-rural technology gap" is a key variable that affects the imbalance of urban-rural development.This gap is a combination of different forms of technology,focusing on information technology,space technology,agricultural technology,and organizational technology.Among them,agricultural technology is the technology that has the most direct impact on farmers’ production and life.The promulgation of rural revitalization strategies and farmers’ eager expectations for advanced agricultural technology provide the impetus for modern agricultural technology to enter the countryside.In addition,in the existing technical governance literature,there are relatively few studies on the rural area,especially the lack of in-depth field investigations on the impact of agricultural technology and the reconstruction of rural society,which leaves room for the study of this article.We are faced with a deconstructed but not yet fully constructed village.The entry of agricultural technology into rural society will undoubtedly add a variable to rural governance.The case selection in this article is based on the “technical support model township” supported by agricultural technology.Baguazhou Street in Nanjing City is a typical case of agricultural technology reshaping rural society.The article objectively describes greenhouse planting technology,improved seed technology,viticulture technology,and reed The advanced agricultural technology including artemisia planting technology has brought new changes in the production process,marketization of resource allocation,and modernization of management methods to the villages of Baguazhou.It is further analyzed that agricultural technology has led to the diversification of rural social power structure and production.Indepth changes in the modernization of methods and rationalization of social relations.At the same time,by showing the government’s role in the reshaping of rural society by agricultural technology and the transformation of its own functions,it is found that agricultural technology has brought “by-products” to rural society and promotes rural development.At the same time,it further changed the governance subject and governance rules of rural society.In addition,it explores the innovative practice of realizing good rural governance through technical governance,how to use the idea of "technical governance" to bridge the relatively serious "technical gap" between urban and rural areas in our country,tap the governance function of technology,and finally achieve good rural governance.The main conclusions of this article are as follows: First,the introduction of agricultural technology into rural society has helped rural areas realize the industrialization of production processes,marketization of resource allocation,and modernization of management methods,which have strongly promoted the development of agricultural modernization;second,agricultural technology has helped rural "three modernizations" It is transforming the power structure,production relations and social relations of rural society;the third is that agricultural technology helps rural society enrich the main body of rural social governance,improve governance rules,help rural governance to shift from empirical governance to technological governance,and promote the process of good governance in rural areas.It is said that modern agricultural technology directly or indirectly reshapes rural society.
