Guangxi is inhabited by many ethnic minorities,including Zhuang,Han,Yao and Miao indigenous ethnic minorities.Ethnic cultures develop under the communication,collision and the integration each other,which forms a pattern of pluralism and integration.Schools and colleges pay much more attention to the excavation,sorting and inheritance of ethnic culture under the guidance of “General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important exposition on cultural self-confidence.As the main place of culture transmission,ethnic schools are of fundamental,leading and strategic significance for the development of ethnic culture.Performance is the main way of presenting and inheriting school ethnic culture.Applying the theory of performance to study the cultural inheritance of ethnic schools from the perspective of performance is conducive to promoting the inheritance and development of ethnic culture in school.Performance refers to all behaviors and performances in which an individual or a group performs a certain role in the performance of school cultural activities and conveys certain ideas or information to others in a specific activity scene to show their best side.This thesis is mainly based on the theory of multicultural integration of performance education theory and cultural identity theory.The methods of literature review,interview and questionnaire were used.The methods of literature review,interview and questionnaire were used.Based on Guangxi ethnic culture demonstration schools as the research subjects,this thesis collects the relevant data of the ethnic school,and develops the questionnaire and the interview outline,and analyzes the problems and causes of the positive effect of the cultural performance activities of the ethnic school of ethnic learning.On this basis,the author puts forward some suggestions to improve the strategies so as to provide reference for the sustainable development of ethnic culture in ethnic schools.This thesis is mainly composed of the following parts:In the introduction part,the origin and background of the selected topic are briefly discussed,and the existing literature related to this study is understood through the literature method.Firstly,the extensive application of performance theory in the fields of folklore,anthropology,psychology,sociology and pedagogy will be sorted out;secondly,this thesis sorts out the research on the content mechanism and path of the inheritance of ethnic culture in schools;thirdly,it is about the review of the research content on the inheritance of ethnic culture in ethnic schools.On the basis of the existing research results,this thesis expounds the purpose,significance and innovation of this research,and explains the core concepts,research objects and contents,research methods and processes involved in this research.In the first part,the theories related to this study are described in three aspects: performance theory,multicultural integration education theory and cultural identity theory.The main representatives of performance theory are Bauman,Goffman and Shekhner.The folk festival performance activities carried out by teachers and students of ethnic schools with Bowman’s performance theory are interpreted,the daily performance contents of teachers and students of ethnic schools with Goffman’s performance theory are explained,and the educational activities of performance anthropology with Shekhner’s performance theory are proved in the thesis.The second part is the investigation of the cultural performance of ethnic schools.The research object is investigated from the aspects of the elements of ethnic cultural performance: the time of performance,the form of field performance and the content of performance.The thesis mainly describes how the performers in different time and place,by using different forms to portrait how to put on a show by using clothing culture under visual impact,music culture under auditory sense,diet culture under smell and touch linkage,and sports and dance culture under rhythmic perception.The third part expounds the effect of the performance,the problems in the performance and the reasons.Through participating in the observation and investigation,the author finds that the cultural performance of ethnic schools plays a positive role in promoting the inheritance of ethnic culture.On the individual level of teachers and students,the main function is to stimulate the interest of teachers and students in learning ethnic culture,form the cognition of teachers and students on ethnic culture,strengthen the identity of teachers and students on ethnic culture,enhance students’ cultural self-confidence,and promote the consciousness of teachers’ ethnic culture inheritance.In terms of school development,it shapes the characteristic brand of ethnic school culture,promotes the cultural innovation of ethnic schools,and plays a leading role in the demonstration of ethnic culture education in ethnic schools.At the same time,the author also finds that the performance activities of the ethnic demonstration schools involved in this study generally focus on the form rather than the essence,those activities lack of corresponding institutional guarantee,and the performance contents are similar to the performance subjects.Besides,the participation scope is not wide enough.The reasons are mainly caused by the lack of institutions related to the pursuit of formal effects in ethnic schools,the lack of innovative ideas and the shortage of resources.In the fourth part,the author puts forward corresponding improvement strategies according to the existing problems in the research.The main contents include: improve the cognitive level and clear the objectives;form a performance evaluation mechanism with multi-subject participation;increase the regional ethnic cultural performance characteristics of the condensing project;promote the organic combination of ethnic cultural knowledge learning and performance;expand the participation of ethnic cultural performance subjects;broaden the performance venues outside the school;information technology should be used to promote ethnic cultural performances.In the conclusion part,the thesis summarizes and reflects on the research topic,and points out the deficiencies in the research.
