| Objective:This study through the indirect method of measuring thermal measuring college students Health Qigong Wuqinxi(Wuqinxi)change of energy consumption index,under different use level,different use level of different gender college students over time energy consumption characteristics of Wuqinxi,to choose Wuqinxi exercise provides scientific guidance.At the same time,it also provides data support for the promotion and development of Wuqinxi and scientific research,and promotes China’s excellent traditional projects to the world.Methods:A total of 72 college students from Beijing Sport University and Shanxi Datong University were selected as the research subjects,with an age of 20.6±1.2 and a male to female ratio of 1:1.According to the practice years of Wuqinxi,the subjects were divided into proficient group(n=36,male 18,female 18)and elementary group(n=36,male 18,female 18).A portable gas metabolizer was used to measure the energy metabolism indexes of the subjects during the period of Wuqinxi exercise and excess post-exercise oxygen consumption(Excess post-exercise oxygen consumption,EPOC)after exercise in the quiet state,one exercise,two continuous exercises,and three continuous exercises.Use the generalized estimation equation to analyze the repeated measurement data,and compare the exercise intensity,energy expenditure,energy metabolism substrate,cardiopulmonary characteristics of different exercises between college students of different genders at different levels of exercises.Significance is defined as P<0.05.Results:(1)Metabolic equivalent(METs)of Wuqinxi exercise:one time of practicing Wuqinxi,the proficient group was 3.18±0.39 METs(male 3.21±0.31 METs,female 3.16±0.47 METs),and the elementary group was 3.12±0.42 METs(male 2.92±0.40 METs,female 3.33±0.35 METs).There was no significant difference between different training levels and different times(P>0.05).In the proficient group,there was no significant difference between men and women(P>0.05),but it was significantly higher for women to practice 3 times in succession than that for women to practice 2 times(P<0.05);in the elementary group,the male were significantly lower than females(P<0.05),and 3 times of continuous practice was significantly higher than 2 times(P<0.05),while the female continuous practice of 2 times were significantly lower than the other times(P<0.05).(2)Energy expenditure during exercise:one time of practicing Wuqinxi,the proficient group was 27.12±7.52 Kcal(male 31.61±6.55 Kcal,female 22.62±5.53 Kcal),the elementary group was 23.22±5.09 Kcal(male 24.13±5.69 Kcal,female 22.30±4.38 Kcal).The proficient group was significantly higher than the elementary group(P<0.05),the male in the proficient group was significantly higher than the female(P<0.05),the male were significantly higher than the female group when the cumulative number of exercise was up to 3 times(P<0.05).The average energy consumption of each pass of different exercises was calculated.The 2 consecutive exercises were significantly lower than the other repetitions(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between 1 practice and 3 consecutive sessions(P>0.05).(3)EPOC:the energy consumption during the EPOC stage of the Wuqinxi for one time,the proficient group was 1.84±0.81 Kcal(male 1.97±0.87 Kcal,female 1.72±10.74 Kcal),the elementary group was 1.51±0.54 Kcal(male 1.49±0.49 Kcal,female 1.53±0.60 Kcal).It was consistent with the characteristics of energy consumption during exercise,but there was no significant difference between different passes(P>0.05).(4)Total energy expenditure:the total energy consumption of practicing Wuqinxi for one time,the proficient group was 28.96±8.05 Kcal(male 33.58±7.13 Kcal,female 24.33±6.10 Kcal),the elementary group was 24.72±5.42 Kcal(male 25.63±5.92 Kcal,female 23.82±4.87 Kcal).It was consistent with the characteristics of energy consumption during exercise.(5)Energy metabolism substrate:the fat energy supply of the proficient group was significantly higher than that of the elementary group(P<0.05).The energy provided by sugar and fat for men in the proficient group was significantly higher than that of women(P<0.05);the energy provided by sugar only for men in the elementary group was significantly higher than that of women(P<0.05).The respiration exchange ratio(RER)and sugar supply energy of women in the proficient group were the lowest during 2 consecutive training sessions,and the highest in 3 consecutive sessions(P<0.05);the energy supply from fat for 2 consecutive sessions was significantly higher than that of 3 consecutive sessions,the fat energy supply ratio was the highest(P<0.05).(6)Cardiopulmonary function:The oxygen pulse,minute ventilation volume and tidal volume of the proficient group were significantly higher than those of the elementary group(P<0.05).The male’s oxygen pulse,stroke volume,oxygen uptake per minute,minute ventilation volume,and tidal volume were significantly higher than the female(P<0.05),and respiratory rate was significantly lower than the female(P<0.05).The oxygen pulse and stroke volume were the highest in the male who practiced 2 times continuously(P<0.05),the women who practiced continuously for 3 times had the highest oxygen uptake,minute ventilation volume and tidal volume(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Wuqinxi is a low-intensity exercise,and the level of practice has no effect on the intensity of exercise.For beginners,it may be related to gender.(2)The total energy consumption of Wuqinxi was affected by the level of practice and gender,the practician were higher than the beginners,and the male were higher than the female.(3)Long-term practice of Wuqinxi may have a better effect on women’s fat reduction and cardiopulmonary function,and exercise with more than two repetitions may have a better effect. |
