Teaching is an extremely complicated matter and requires the unique ability of teachers.With more understanding of teachers’ teaching and teaching ability,further understanding of how teachers’ teaching ability is formed and developed has become a necessity for research.Physical education teachers have their uniqueness in the teacher group,which depends on the particularity of the physical education classroom and the particularity of the subject,which determines that the teaching ability of physical education teachers is very different from the abilities of teachers of other subjects.In a complex physical education classroom,only focus on the structure and characteristics of the teaching ability of physical education teachers is extremely limited.According to the characteristics of teaching expertise and teacher professional development,it can be found that the improvement of teachers’ ability is not only lies in the classroom.The classroom is only a place for teaching and displaying,and there are deeper factors that promote its development.Although not all physical education teachers will become expert physical education teachers,outstanding teachers have become the current direction of professional development of teachers.The characteristic description of the teaching ability of expert physical education teachers has a guiding role in the direction of professional development of physical education teachers.The personnel engaged in the professional training of teachers are useful,thereby also promoting the improvement of the quality of physical education.Therefore,it is necessary to sort out the characteristics of the teaching ability of expert physical education teachers,and discover the characteristics of their abilities under the iceberg,so as to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of physical education teachers.This study conducted behavioral event interview with 9 expert physical education teachers,analyzed the interview data using grounded theory methods,and obtained 720 labels through open coding according to the principle of "content-categorization",summarizing 31 concepts,10 categories.After further analysis of the code,there are a total of 27 concepts regarding the common abilities and characteristics of expert physical education teachers(designing physical education classroom teaching content,analyzing learning conditions,digging out teaching materials,formulating teaching goals,designing evaluation standards,combining venues and equipment,preparing organization,designing physical education Teaching methods and methods,changing teaching methods and methods,handling emergencies,language expression,demonstration,physical education classroom organization and management,special projects,explanations,error correction,guiding and guiding students in physical learning,physical education,grasping key points in the classroom,Observe students and the classroom,mobilize the enthusiasm and learning interest of sports students,organizational evaluation,learning,research,innovation,summary reflection and communication skills),10 categories.The pre-class part includes the ability of teaching design;the part in the class includes the ability to respond to teaching,the basic skills of physical education,inspire and guide students,observe students and the classroom,mobilize students’ interest and enthusiasm in sports learning,and organize evaluation capabilities;after class,include subjective initiative,summary reflection and communication skills.According to the different stages of teaching,it can be found that the pre-class and after-class parts are the stages that expert physical education teachers pay attention to They mainly promote the perfection of the pre-class preparation stage through the learning of knowledge and skills after class and the study of teaching guidelines.Effectively improve the efficiency of physical education classroom teaching.Among them,knowledge is the core and focus of the pre-and post-class part,and insight and efficiency are the core of teachers’ classroom teaching.
