| In the context of the information age,"design" plays an increasingly important role in all walks of life.A project-based inquiry-based teaching model centered on "design",using design methods to construct knowledge and solve problems-design-based learning is gradually being valued by the educational community.Through practical research by many scholars,it is found that design-based learning can effectively promote the integration of multidisciplinary knowledge,help to develop students’ engineering design ability,practical innovation ability,problem-solving ability,and at the same time enhance students’ teamwork spirit.However,most of the current practical research focuses on maker education or STEM education.Combining chemistry teaching with design-based learning to effectively promote the improvement of students’ ability and the development of thinking has become an urgent problem to be solved.Based on this,starting from the actual needs of chemistry education,this research attempts to construct the design thinking and teaching strategy of chemistry teaching based on design-based learning.First of all,this study sorts out the definition,development process and teaching model of design and design-based learning,and lays a foundation for the research;Teaching value and teaching mode;Thirdly,based on the typical teaching model,the author constructs the teaching design thinking of design-based learning,and formulates the chemistry teaching strategy of design-based learning.The design-based learning-based chemistry teaching process proposed in this study mainly includes seven links: clarifying tasks,understanding challenges,establishing standards,planning and design,presentation and evaluation,reflective inquiry,and extended design.Combined with the characteristics of chemistry,this study selects relevant topics for teaching case design,including two cases of "Designing Batteries" and "Soap Made from Waste Oil";finally,a high school in Jining City is selected to carry out teaching practice on "Designing Batteries".Through the methods of testing and interviews,quantitative and qualitative analysis of the practical effects of chemistry teaching based on design-based learning,through practice,draw the conclusion that compared with traditional chemistry teaching,the chemistry teaching based on design-based learning helps to promote The integration of subject knowledge and the realization of meaningful learning can improve students’ design thinking ability,practical innovation ability,problem-solving ability and teamwork spirit. |
