As the pace of life continues to increase,people hope to get more information in a shorter time.We Chat,Weibo,and short videos are increasingly used to obtain information.Micro lecture,a new type of teaching,is used as a new teaching method by educators.In a wide sense,micro-lectures can be understood as a metaphor that refers to micro aspects of a variety of learning models,concepts and processes.Micro-lectures originated in foreign countries,but at present,the domestic development is not very mature.With the support of national policies and people,micro-lectures have gradually evolved into a learning platform where everyone can be an educator,and everyone can acquire the knowledge they want from it.The interesting and scientific characteristics of elementary science classrooms determine the diversification of their teaching forms.The application of micro-course can greatly enhance the openness and interaction of science courses,attract students’ attention,and be more conducive to the learning of scientific knowledge.However,the form of expression of micro-lectures is still relatively simple,the selection of materials need to be further improved,and the application of micro-lectures in practice also needs further research.Therefore,this thesis focuses on the application and teaching design of micro-lectures in primary school science courses.This article focuses on improving the diversity of science teaching in primary school,attracting their attention to science,and improving the quality of teaching.The thesis mainly works on the following aspects:1.This thesis summarizes the domestic and foreign research literature on micro-lectures in the field of primary school science.And use literature review as a methodology for researching the current domestic and foreign situation of micro-lectures,problems encountered in the application of micro-lectures and the significance of applying micro-lectures to primary school science teaching.2.Then this thesis defines the related concepts,including the concept,characteristics and classification of micro-lectures.And explain the three theoretical foundations used in this thesis:constructivist learning theory,micro-learning theory and connectivism theory.This article also introduces the instructions for the use of the three software OBS Studio,Face Rig,and Clipping used in the research in detail.3.According to the characteristics of primary school science subjects and the needs of young audiences,this thesis conducts teaching design based on the three chapters "Solar System","Mysterious Starry Sky" and "Exploring the Universe" in the fifth unit "The Known Universe" in the 2017 Qingdao Edition Primary School Science Textbook.4.This thesis records the production process and design details of the micro-lectures in detail,including the selection of characters,the narration and dubbing,the design intent of each micro-lecture and the specific insertion time point.5.Finally,the edited micro-lectures were applied to teaching practice.By collecting the feedback of it,evaluate the quality and effect of this micro-lecture production process.The micro-lecture has received favourable comments from teachers and students.Intuitive and vivid micro-lectures improve the quality of teaching and are helpful to develop the teaching work.Students expressed that they prefer to learn scientific knowledge through micro-lectures rather than static texts.And the memory of knowledge acquired through micro-lectures will be stronger.The results of this thesis show that with the increasing influence of Internet technology on people and the younger age of the audience,the Internet has become one of the most common ways of spreading and obtaining knowledge.Uploading short videos to online media platforms makes it easier for students to acquire the knowledge they need,and it also speeds up the spread of knowledge.In this thesis,by adjusting the producing methods and duration of micro-lectures as well as focusing on expressing key content in video animations,micro-lectures attract the attention of students,shorten their study time,and allow students to learn knowledge in their spare time and connect knowledge with their lives.The Internet can efficiently summarize information,uploading videos containing key knowledge of multiple subjects to the same micro-lecture platform would provide people with teaching resources,improve the overall scientific literacy of society.Uploading the video to the network and applying it to the actual teaching process enriches the teaching methods and improves the teaching quality to some extent.
