Discipline reputation directly affects the academic level and future development of its students,and how the discipline’s reputation among students has a negative impact on the development of the discipline.As an important part of the construction and development of pedagogy,comprehensive university education disciplines are placed on high hopes for inheritance,enhancement and innovation of academics.However,the reputation of comprehensive university education disciplines in my country is mixed.This study aims to present students from the perspective of students.Based on the perception status of the reputation of education disciplines in comprehensive universities,analyze the factors that restrict the reputation of education disciplines,reveal their influence on students,and finally try to propose corresponding action paths.The thesis first explores the meaning of the concept of discipline reputation itself.Disciplines have different stakeholders,and different subjects have different understandings of discipline reputation,which makes the connotation of discipline reputation uncertain and difficult to quantify.The dissertation attempts to define the subject reputation from the students’cognition and emotional expression of the subject,and defines the students’ evaluation factors of the subject reputation as subject popularity,cognition and trust.Popularity is the student’s understanding of the influence of the education discipline,cognition is the student’s cognition of the connotation construction of the education discipline,and trust is the student’s emotional expression and spiritual sustenance for the education discipline.This study uses a combination of theoretical analysis and interview research to gain an in-depth understanding of students’ perceptions of the reputation of comprehensive university education disciplines,and then conduct a rational analysis of its constraints and influences.In terms of popularity,students are more concerned about whether the education discipline is the exclusive discipline of normal colleges and universities,whether the education discipline relies on comprehensive universities,and whether the status of the education discipline is generally low.These issues are not only related to the popularity of educational disciplines,but also affect student employment,scientific research and future development.Inadequate construction of educational subject identity in comprehensive universities,internal and external asymmetry of educational subject reputation information dissemination,and inadequate management of educational subject reputation crisis have become the main factors restricting students’ awareness of subject reputation.The subject culture,knowledge system and scientific research achievements of comprehensive university education disciplines can best reflect the current situation of students’ cognition.There are many factors that restrict students’ cognition of comprehensive university education disciplines.The influence of the high mobility of the system and the lack of resource allocation also comes from the reliability and credibility of pedagogical knowledge itself.At the same time,students’ trust in the subject will affect students’ knowledge acquisition ability,learning ability and value orientation.Students’ sense of subject belonging,centripetal force and sense of identity are the emotional expressions of students’ trust in comprehensive university education disciplines.If the atmosphere is not strong enough and the self-awareness of the education discipline is not firm enough,the students’ sense of belonging,centripetal force and identity will change with the change of trust.Finally,in order to find an action path for improving the reputation of comprehensive university education disciplines,it is necessary to start from three aspects:the dissemination mechanism of discipline reputation information,the development model of comprehensive university education disciplines,and the comprehensive university discipline ecosystem.First of all,the information dissemination mechanism of discipline reputation should be improved.Comprehensive university education disciplines should exert the initiative of identity construction and image dissemination,and improve crisis management measures.Secondly,in the process of discipline construction,education disciplines should focus on enhancing the discipline confidence of educational scholars,constantly improve the internal academic governance structure of education disciplines,and actively carry out interdisciplinary cooperation.In addition,comprehensive universities should also attach importance to building a harmonious disciplinary ecosystem,incorporate education disciplines into development plans and play a supporting role in talent training,and at the same time purify the discipline ranking environment of comprehensive universities. |
