The Practical Research Of Social Work In Urban Community Neighborhood Building Under Regional Development Model

In recent years,the process of urbanization and modernization in China has accelerated,and large-scale population movements have become an inevitable phenomenon of social development.From hutongs,compounds,longtang,new villages and other forms into a variety of commercial housing subdivisions,the Chinese housing system reform and commercial housing market has matured day by day.The houseware facilities of the community are becoming more perfect.Communities previously linked by blood and occupation have been gradually replaced by stranger communities.It makes the residents of urban community increasingly superficial and formal in their interactions.As a result,more and more social problems arise,which makes it more urgent to build the neighborhood in urban communities.It also becomes a topic of increasing concern to the community residents.Based on the Regional Development Model and Social Interaction Theory,this study uses questionnaire survey,participatory observation and semi-structural interview to understand the current situation of neighborhood relations in X Community,the problems and causes among neighbors,and carry out demand analysis.Then,it suggests practical paths from building relationships with residents and mobilizing community cadres to community action.Under the four stages of social work to explore,mobilize,construct and evaluate,we can analyze and solve the main problems and reasons of pet keeping in X Community.Social workers help to guide community residents in their own analysis of pet keeping needs and use their agency to address uncivilized pet practices.In the process of promoting community development and community participation,community residents gradually enhance neighborhood interaction,build neighborhood support networks,and enhance their sense of community identity,responsibility and belonging.Finally,the paper summarizes and reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of social work intervention in neighborhood building under the Regional Development Model.The author thinks that it is feasible to apply the concept and strategic skills of regional development model to the construction of neighborhood relations in urban communities,and its local applicability is more conducive to social work to play its own professional advantages in building interactive platform of communication,solving community problems and participating in community governance.
