Study On The Problems And Strategies Of Class Management In The First Grade Of Primary School From The Perspective Of Admission Adaptation

As the starting grade of students’ systematic and normative academic career-the first grade of primary school,it is not only in the transitional stage of early childhood,but also in the beginning stage of children’s growth,and its influence should not be underestimated.For the students at this stage to adapt to primary school life smoothly,the class management in the first grade of primary school dominates.The population of this study was 75 new students in 3 first grade classes of elementary school enrolled in the fall of 2021 at Hongjindi School in Shenzhen.The survey was conducted mainly through questionnaires,participant observation,and interviews with three classroom teachers to investigate the school’s first grade students’ adjustment to school and the current situation of first grade classroom management.Based on the analysis of the survey results,we found that the current situation of first grade classroom management under the perspective of adjustment to schooling mainly existed in both teachers and students.Seven classroom management strategies were proposed: first grade classroom teachers need to update their educational philosophy;do a good job in preparing for the entrance of first grade students;carry out adaptation education for first grade students;improve and implement the classroom management system according to the rules and regulations;train class cadres and guide students to manage themselves;optimize the process evaluation mechanism for students in the classroom and strengthen home-school cooperation.
