| As an important stage of China’s education,preschool education is not only an important demand for people’s livelihood,but also promotes China’s sustainable economic development by improving the quality of workers and expanding consumption.China’s financial investment in preschool education continues to grow.It has become a consensus that preschool education is an important investment in human capital.The scarcity of economic resources and the threshold effect of education investment require us to face up to the relationship between preschool education and economic development.The relationship between preschool education and economic development is an important reference for formulating preschool education policies.At present,there is still much room for development in the domestic research on the relationship between preschool education and economic development.From the perspective of coupling,this study analyzes the symbiosis,interaction,matching and synergy between two or more economic phenomena,and discusses the close relationship between preschool education and economic development.Due to the regional heterogeneity of China’s education and economic level,based on the coupling relationship between preschool education and economic development,analyzing the coupling level of preschool education and economic development in various regions of China is conducive to put forward targeted suggestions to promote the coupling development of preschool education and economy and narrow the regional gap.Therefore,based on the panel data of China’s preschool education and economic development from 2008 to 2018,the study mainly explores the following contents:Study 1): the construction and verification of the coupling index between preschool education and economic development from a macro perspective.With the help of the existing literature,this paper preliminarily constructs the index system of the two systems of preschool education development and economic development,scientifically selects the appropriate evaluation indexes by using the methods of correlation analysis and coefficient of variation,and then calculates the index weight by using the objective assignment method entropy weight method to obtain the calculation method of preschool education and economic development index.Then,based on the time series data of China’s preschool education and economic development index from 2008 to 2018,the coupling relationship between China’s preschool education and economic development is verified through cointegration test and Granger causality test.The results show that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between preschool education and economic development in China,and there is a two-way coupling dynamic relationship,that is,the development of preschool education promotes economic development,and economic development also reversely promotes the development of preschool education,and economic development is gradually weak due to its own influence over time,while preschool education affects economic development through lag effect and continues to develop.Study 2): Research on the coupling level and influencing factors of regional preschool education and economic development.Calculate the pre-school education and economic development index of 31 provincial administrative regions in China from 2008 to 2018,and then introduce the coupling coordination degree function.The coupling coordination degree reflects the coupling level.Calculate the coupling coordination in each region,analyze the time series change and spatial pattern of the coupling level of pre-school education and economic development in each region,and use the analysis of covariance,F test BP test and Hausman test select the appropriate panel regression model,establish the regression equation,and find out the driving force of the coupling and coordination degree of the two,so as to promote the high-quality development of regional preschool education in China,enter the track of mutual promotion and coordinated development of preschool education and regional economy,and provide scientific basis for scientific decision-making of relevant departments.The results show that:(1)from 2008 to 2018,the index of preschool education and economic development in all regions of our region showed an upward trend,but the preschool education and economic development in all regions were not necessarily synchronized;(2)In terms of time sequence,although the coupling coordination degree of various regions in China fluctuates up and down,it changes little,and generally shows a gentle upward trend;(3)in the sight of spatial pattern,the spatial heterogeneity is significant,the spatial distribution is still uneven,and there is no obvious distribution trend.On the whole,it presents a diagonal spatial structure of "high in the East and low in the west";(4)From the spatial differentiation angle,the coordinated development level of the coupling between preschool education and regional economy in China has obvious spatial autocorrelation and spatial heterogeneity in the geographical spatial distribution,and the spatial pattern shows a gradual extension from coastal to inland,with a trend of agglomeration to the two poles,However,the spatial agglomeration characteristics show a downward trend on the whole.The trickle down effect of the leading provinces on the surrounding provinces is less than the polarization effect,and the radiation driving effect is not obvious.(4)From the perspective of influencing factors,preschool education investment,preschool education quality and economic quality have a significant positive impact on the coupling level of preschool education and economic development,while preschool education opportunity,economic scale and economic structure are not the main influencing factors.Through the above research,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward: first,on the basis of expanding the investment in preschool education,formulate the per student funding standard of preschool education according to the regional development level,and build a solid foundation for common prosperity in the development source of human capital.Secondly,promote the coupling and coordinated development of preschool education and economy,establish a preschool education development system with coordinated financial resources and strong guarantee,optimize the regional mutual aid mechanism and narrow the gap between regions.Finally,change the focus from increment to high quality.Only when the quality of the two subsystems is improved at the same time can the coupling level be promoted and the development vitality of the two systems be added in a virtuous circle. |
