| Migrant workers are the main body of urban economic construction.The educational equity of their children is related to social stability and long-term stability of the country.As a leading demonstration area of socialism,Shenzhen has made continuous exploration and efforts to solve this problem and achieved remarkable results.However,up to now,there are still major problems in the educational equity of the children of migrant workers.Based on this,taking school a in Longgang District as a typical case,this thesis makes a questionnaire and interview survey on the equity of compulsory education faced by the children of migrant workers,and puts forward relevant countermeasures.The survey shows that the children of migrant workers in school a in Longgang District have problems in three aspects: the starting point of compulsory education is fair,the process is fair and the result is fair.Specifically,in the fairness of starting point,migrant workers’ children will face a series of problems to be solved,such as the difficulty of going to school nearby,failing to get timely and more high-quality educational resources,restricting registered residence system and failing to choose an ideal school.In terms of process equity,there are some problems,such as the scarcity of high-quality educational resources for the children of migrant workers,differential treatment in teaching links,and insufficient attention to education by families;In terms of result fairness,the children of migrant workers are relatively backward in academic performance,relatively weak in basic knowledge,and there are also some deviations in character formation and habit formation.This thesis makes a further analysis on the equity of educational enrollment opportunity,educational process and educational result of school a in Longgang District,Shenzhen.The causes can be divided into the following points: first,the unfair starting point of education is because educational laws and regulations still need to be improved,educational financial investment and distribution are unbalanced,and the income of migrant families is not high;Second,the unfair educational process is due to the insufficient attention of relevant management departments,the improvement of teachers’ quality and the unbalanced development of schools;Third,the differences in educational results are due to the restrictions of migrant workers’ children’s mobile family places and economic conditions,the low comprehensive quality of migrant workers’ children,the limited level of migrant workers themselves,and the weak educational concept.Education is neither a person’s business nor a person’s responsibility.Therefore,the Countermeasures for solving the problem of compulsory education fairness of migrant workers’ children reasonably and effectively can be started from three aspects: government,school and family: first,from the government’s point of view,we should actively promote the reform of registered residence system,implement the integral enrollment system,build a new pattern of three main bodies,and optimize the education finance laws and regulations,and orderly develop private education;Secondly,from the perspective of schools,we should strengthen student status management,improve management efficiency,strengthen inter school communication,achieve resource sharing,strengthen the construction of school psychological teachers and strengthen psychological education resources;Finally,from the perspective of family,we should strengthen parents’ sense of responsibility,optimize their educational ideas,create a healthy and warm family education environment,and give more care to their children,so as to fully protect the children’s right to education of migrant workers in the stage of compulsory education and make them enjoy more fair and high-quality education. |
