| Exports play a very important role in a country’s economy, and an enterprise’s ability to export is determined by the level of education and skill training of employees. Many empirical studies such as Kaynak(1992),Beamish,Craig and Mc Lellan(1993)have shown that human capital has a significant impact on firm exports. As a developing country, the Moroccan government has increased investment in education in recent years, hoping to promote economic development through human capital;at the same time,Morocco’s foreign trade has also maintained a certain growth.Based on this. This paper examines the impact of human capital on firm exports. The thesis uses the World Bank’s 2019 survey data on Moroccan enterprises, and uses STATA software for analysis. The empirical results show that the education level of employees is significantly and positively correlated with the export of enterprises, and the skill training coefficient is positive but does not pass the significance test. This may be caused by the lack of skills training for employees by enterprises. This conclusion is also confirmed.Based on the conclusion, the Moroccan government should continue to increase investment in education to promote the improvement of human capital for enterprises,it should also increase skills training for employees and improve export capacity. |
