| The teaching effect of the Morality and the Rule of Law course in junior high school is related to the formation of young people’s values and even the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation."The future belongs to the youth,and hope is placed on the youth".In the new era,promoting the combination of "small political classrooms" and "big social classrooms" has important practical significance for improving the teaching effect of the Morality and the Rule of Law course in junior high schools,and for cultivating people and talents for the Communist Party of China.As a key course that undertakes the task of building morality and cultivating people,the newly revised junior high school textbook Morality and the Rule of Law was put into use in 2017 based on national conditions and following the laws of physical and mental development of middle school students.The new version of the textbook has made great changes in the content composition,adding a lot of types of textbook auxiliary columns,the "Expanding Space" column is one of them,which is considered to be a "scaffold" connecting in-class teaching and out-of-class teaching.Later,because of its outstanding extension,practicality,pertinence and comprehensiveness,it has attracted the attention of the majority of teachers.Under this background,exploring how to further improve the teaching effect of the "Expanding Space" column has become an issue of important theoretical value and practical significance.Starting from the description of the attributes and positioning of the "Expanding Space" column,and analyzing the types according to the organizational form of the column activities,on the basis of grasping the characteristics of the column,it is confirmed that the "Expanding Space" column plays an important role in enriching curriculum resources,realizing the extension of the teaching space of ideological and political course to the "social classroom",strengthening the value guidance of junior high school students,promoting teachers’ innovative teaching methods,and guiding students to expand the depth of learning.However,through actual investigation,it is found that the "Expand Space" column bears problems such as the insufficient implementation of the teaching objectives of the column,the lack of teachers’ ability to design the column,the low degree of completion of the column by students,and the lack of students’ experience in column activities.The reasons for the problems in the "Expand Space" column stem from many aspects,first of all,the teaching and research groups are deeply affected by the "achievement-only" idea and does not emphasize moral education enough;secondly,the teacher’s design intention of the "Expand Space" column is not in place,the lack of strategy in teaching,and the professionalism needs to be strengthened;thirdly,the students are affected by ability constraints and utilitarianism in the column learning,and their learning action is insufficient;finally,the implementation system of the column itself is not perfect enough,which makes the implementation difficult.To improve the effectiveness of the "Expand Space" column in teaching,first of all,we must intensify the teaching and research groups to emphasize the use of the "Expand Space" column,implement the guiding spirit,update the assessment system and carry out teaching and research activities to exchange experience,so as to attach importance to and guarantee the implementation of the column,properly use the learning results to create a good campus culture,and build a long-term education mechanism;secondly,it is necessary to improve the teaching quality of teachers in "Expanding Space" column,improve the "teaching ability" to realize the scientific and reasonable column organization,and highlight the intrinsic value of the column,seize the opportunity of projects to carry out research on the column and break the application dilemma;in addition,we must respect the subjectivity of students,improve the initiative of students’ learning,start from the learning attitude to change the wrong tendency of "achievement-only",cultivate learning strategies,hone learning ability,and enhance the sense of learning experience;finally,we must optimize the implementation system of the "Expand Space" column,such as improving the implementation path by column data collection channels,adding special courses,mobilizing multi-party cooperation willingness with effective incentive means to ensure time and space in column implementation. |
