Social Work Helps Community Residents To Participate In Voluntary Service Research

The community is the place of daily life of residents,residents are in the main position in the community,all the work of the community is carried out around the needs of residents,there are many subjects that carry out various services,and volunteer organizations are one of them.Give play to the guiding and supporting role of social workers,provide training for community volunteer organizations to improve community service awareness and service capabilities,enhance their sense of community responsibility,and use this as a path to build a platform for mutual communication between residents and volunteer organizations,and promote residents to participate in community services in an organized form.Based on the actual participation of social workers in volunteer service in F community,based on social learning theory and empowerment theory,the participatory observation method,indepth interview method,and participatory action research method were adopted to conduct field research on the F community,collect relevant data and data,and found that the community has deficiencies in the cultivation of volunteer organizations and the improvement of volunteers’ ability to absorb residents’ participation,which are embodied in the formalization of the cultivation process,incomplete content,and irregular members,and the implementation process is not standardized and systematic.There is a lack of volunteers to help residents participate in training in capacity improvement.However,the community residents have a high degree of recognition of community volunteer service,there are many potential resident volunteers in the community,based on this advantage,the author from the professional social work method to intervene in the cultivation of volunteer organizations,the community volunteer as the research object,according to the concept of social work,link relevant resources,give play to professional ability,through the group work professional method designed seven group activities.The content of the activities adopts the method of combining theoretical teaching and practical development,and is carried out in five aspects:volunteer organizational cohesion,residents’ communication ability,collaboration ability,volunteer service spirit and volunteer service skills.After the completion of all the group activities,the author conducted a result evaluation and process evaluation of the entire intervention effect,combined with the evaluation results,put forward suggestions for improving and optimizing the participation of community residents,that is,comprehensively applying the three professional methods of social work at the community level,and giving full play to the professional value,concept and method of social work to help community residents participate in volunteer service;Pay attention to the mobilization and excavation of key actors in the community,and cultivate their professional volunteer service awareness and ability to enhance their ability,and assist other residents in the community to actively participate in the community;Individual residents,social organizations and the government work together to promote the participation of community residents in volunteer service and optimize the path of residents’ community participation.
