Research On Social Work Promoting Residents' Participation In Community Environmental Governance

In the report of the 19th Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the reform of the ecological civilization system must be accelerated to build a beautiful new China.Under such circumstances,it has become an inevitable trend to strengthen environmental protection and promote the construction of ecological civilization.In this context,as the basic unit of the city,the community is not only an important place for community residents to live and live,but also a new foothold for handling various affairs.The community environment is very important to residents,and the life and health of every resident is closely related to it.This research focuses on the issue of community environmental governance,and explores ways to promote residents' participation in community governance through residents' participation in community environmental governance.This article believes that the so-called community environmental governance refers to the process of rectifying and managing the public environmental affairs of the community through the equal cooperation and extensive interaction of the government,community organizations,and community residents based on the geographical scope of the community and the form of community organization.In this process,more emphasis is placed on giving full play to the role of grassroots community governance,forming a bottom-up public participation,and urging a large number of social forces to participate in community environmental governance.This study uses questionnaire survey and interview methods to obtain first-hand materials.The survey found that residents have weak public environmental protection awareness in the process of participating in community environmental governance,low participation in community environmental governance,insufficient governance capabilities,and insufficient governance opportunities.Research and use the methods of community work and group work to carry out the practice of social work intervention.With the intervention of social work,the residents' environmental awareness will be improved,the participation behavior will be changed from passive to active,the ability to participate in community environmental governance will be improved,and the community environmental governance will be involved the opportunity is improved.Finally,summarize the effectiveness and shortcomings of intervention,and put forward further improvement opinions and suggestions based on this,so as to promote the improvement of community residents' environmental awareness and participation in community governance behaviors,and realize the sustainable development of community environmental governance.
