As representatives of developing countries and emerging economies,the BRICS(China,Russia,India,Brazil and South Africa)have been increasingly influential in economic,cultural and diplomatic and other fields in recent years,and have become an important engine for economic growth and promoting international relations.The education of foreign students in China can be used for mutual cultural exchanges between China and other countries,and promote the international development of China’s higher education.Therefore,there is an urgent need to improve the quality assurance system of the other four BRICS countries international students studying in china.The article consists of seven parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly including raising question,research purpose and significance.The research review mainly focuses on three aspects:the research on the education of international students in china,the research on the education of the other four BRICS countries and the research on the education quality assurance system.The research methods mainly include literature analysis,data statistics and comparative research.The second part is related theoretical research.The basic concepts include the other four BRICS countries,the education of International students in China,the quality of higher education and the quality assurance mechanism of higher education.The main theories include all-round quality management theories,quality assurance system in higher education and evaluation theory of education quality.The third part is a historical review of the cultural exchange and cooperation between China and the other four BRICS countries,mainly sorting out the political,economic and cultural cooperation between China and Russia,India,Brazil and South Africa since the establishment of diplomatic relations.The fourth part is the development status of the education:mainly including scale development,hierarchy development and scholarship development.The quality assurance:mainly including the basic development status,policy guarantee,enrollment guarantee,organizational construction guarantee and evaluation system guarantee.The fifth part is about the problems and challenges of the quality assurance of education for the other four BRICS countries international students in China,including the need to strengthen policy guidance,insufficient scholarship supply,uneven quality of students,unformed convergent management model,insufficient guarantee of teaching quality,and imperfect evaluation system.The sixth part is the optimization strategy,including strengthening the policy guidance,constructing the guarantee cornerstone;improving the scholarship system and attracting high-level talents;promoting the recruitment system and ensuring the quality of students;enhancing convergent management model and management quality;innovating the training mode and strengthen teaching quality;perfecting the evaluation strategy and the evaluation system.The seventh part is the conclusion and prospect.
