A Case Study Of Morality And Rule Of Law

The course of Morality and the Rule of Law with strong theory in junior high school is based on the life of junior high school students and aims at guiding and promoting the development of the ideology and morality of students.However,due to many sermons,this course is more boring compared with other courses,which leads to the lack of interest for students.At the same time,since the body and heart of the junior high school students in the rebellious period are still immature,the traditional teaching method of indoctrination can’t meet the needs of students to learn better in the new era.In order to improve students’ participation and enthusiasm,a better teaching method must be taken.Using case teaching method in the course of Morality and the Rule of Law which means to bring the actual examples in life into the classroom not only can integrate teaching objectives and teaching knowledge,but also can improve the persuasiveness and fun of teaching.During teaching,through using vivid cases,students can be guided to think independently,so the ability of discovering and analyzing problems will be developed.Students can also experience the rapid development of society and gain growth.The use of case teaching methods can effectively enhance students’ enthusiasm to learn this course.This paper studies the current situation of the case teaching methods in the course of Morality and the Rule of Law both in theory and in practice.Firstly,theories,such as Marxist epistemology,Marxist educational theory,humanism education philosophy,constructivism theory,and so on,are used to illustrate case and case teaching.In terms of practice,through investigation and study,the effect and problems of case teaching are discussed and the reasons causing these problems are further analyzed.Finally,to better achieve the goal of strengthening morality,some advice is given.For example,teachers should fully understand the students’ knowledge foundation and be good at using multimedia technology.
