In order to cope with the coming of the era of knowledge economy and carry out quality-oriented education,the quality of basic education should be further improved.At present,it is difficult for primary school teachers to change the status quo of education by focusing only on teaching practice.As primary schools have long focused on teaching rather than research,it is necessary to improve education and scientific research quality with the help of university teachers and scientific research resources.The cooperation between universities and primary schools,namely,the level and content of "U-S" cooperation as well as the level of primary school teachers’ education and scientific research accomplishment,will affect the willingness and effect of cooperation between the two parties,thus affecting the professional development level of teachers and the improvement of primary education quality.The investigation of the current situation of primary school teachers’ educational and scientific literacy and the "U-S" cooperation is helpful to find the problems and causes of the education and scientific literacy of primary and secondary school teachers in "U-S" cooperation,so as to put forward targeted suggestions to improve the education and scientific literacy of primary school teachers and improve the "U-S" cooperation.Therefore,colleges and primary schools can timely and comprehensively understand primary school teachers’ demands for "U-S" cooperative cultivation of primary school teachers’ educational and scientific literacy,which is conducive to mobilizing the enthusiasm of primary school teachers to participate in educational and scientific research activities,promoting teachers’ professional development and improving the quality of primary school education.This study mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method,draws on and ADAPTS the Scale of Education and Scientific Research Literacy of Primary and secondary School Teachers.From the four dimensions of education and scientific research concept,education and scientific research consciousness,education and scientific research knowledge,and education and scientific research ability,as well as the "U-S" cooperation situation,education and scientific research dilemma,and factors affecting education and scientific literacy,A survey was conducted on the status quo of teachers’ educational scientific literacy and "U-S" cooperation in four primary schools in S City,and descriptive and difference analysis was conducted on the survey data with the help of software.Results: The education and scientific research literacy of primary school teachers in S city reached above middle level,and the scores of each dimension from high to low were education and scientific research concept,education and scientific research consciousness,education and scientific research ability,and education and scientific research knowledge.The difference analysis shows that primary school teachers’ educational and scientific research literacy in S city has significant differences in age,educational background,participation in educational and scientific research activities and "U-S" cooperation.Combined with the results of questionnaire and interview,this study explores the "S" cooperative education for primary and secondary school teachers attribution of scientific literacy problems,mainly involves the cooperation of scientific research cooperation intention,scientific research needs and goals,primary school teachers’ scientific research ideas,pertinence,primary school teaching and research section of university teachers’ scientific research training functions and performance evaluation.Based on this,it is suggested that both parties should strengthen the willingness of scientific research cooperation,clarify the needs and goals of cooperation,and give full play to the advantages of scientific research resources of both parties.Primary school teachers should change their cognition of scientific research,actively study scientific research knowledge and improve their scientific research ability.The teaching and research section of primary school plays the function of integrating teaching and research.University teachers inspire primary school teachers with examples of scientific research achievements;In order to improve the level of "U-S" cooperation and primary school teachers’ education and scientific research literacy,primary schools and universities should make joint projects and scientific research projects and emphasize scientific research in performance assessment.
