| The head teacher is an important person in charge of class management,and also an important person who affects the growth and development of students in the class.Class management is not only the guarantee of students’ comprehensive learning,but also the epitome of the whole school management.Whether the class management in primary schools is good or not is directly related to the orderly development of all aspects of school education,and thus affects the growth and development of primary school students.Since 2006,China has implemented a series of rural teacher support policies,attracting a large number of young new teachers to join the rural teacher team,which has injected vitality into rural schools.Due to the shortage of teachers in rural primary schools,almost all the new teachers assigned to rural primary schools have served as head teachers within one or two years.Many of these new teachers have no teaching experience,and they are helpless for class management.The lack of teacher experience and the lack of resources in rural primary schools make these new head teachers in a dilemma in class management.How to let the novice head teacher of rural primary school get rid of the dilemma of class management? This research takes the novice head teachers in rural primary schools as the research object.143 novice head teachers in more than 40 rural primary schools in S City were investigated by using the questionnaire method,and 6 novice head teachers from 6 different rural primary schools were interviewed by using the interview method.The results of the questionnaire and interview records were collated and analyzed in detail,Pointing out the predicament of the novice head teachers in rural primary schools in class management and digging into the causes of their predicament,on this basis,providing a breakthrough strategy with usability and operability for the novice head teachers in rural primary schools.The thesis is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly covers the reason for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the definition of basic concepts and the relevant literature of class management,providing theoretical support for the following research.The second part investigates the current situation of the class management of novice head teachers in rural primary schools in S city from four dimensions of the goal,system,content and method of class management,and obtains the overall survey results:the average value of the comprehensive situation of the class management of novice head teachers in rural primary schools is 2.48,which is lower than the theoretical median 3,and the level of class management is below the medium level,of which the average value of each dimension from high to low is the method of class management The goal,content and system of class management.The third part summarizes the dilemma of the class management of novice head teachers in rural primary schools by analyzing the data of the survey results.The main difficulties are as follows: 1.The establishment of class management objectives is not clear and the degree of achievement is not high;2.The content of the class management system is not standardized and the implementation is not enough;3.Pay too much attention to learning management and neglect other aspects of management;4.The method of class management is single and the effect is not obvious.The fourth part summarizes the causes of the dilemma as follows: 1.The novice head teachers in rural primary schools face the dual pressures of teaching and management adaptation;2.The novice head teachers in rural primary schools lack both motivation and quality in class management;3.The support system and incentive mechanism of novice head teachers in rural primary schools are not perfect.The fifth part puts forward strategies for the reasons: First,relieve the dual status adaptation pressure of the novice head teacher from the perspective of human care;Secondly,take many measures to improve the class management motivation and quality of the novice head teachers in rural primary schools;Finally,improve the support system and incentive mechanism of novice class teachers in rural primary schools.In a word,the level of class management directly affects the quality and efficiency of teaching and educating people.We should attach great importance to the lack of motivation,lack of external support,outdated management methods and other problems in the management of novice class teachers in rural primary schools,and strive to find strategies for the management of novice class teachers in rural primary schools to break through the difficulties,so that the management of novice class teachers in rural primary schools can be on the right track. |
