| Fei Xiaotong is a representative scholar of the Chinese School,whose series of studies from Jiangcun economy to small towns not only make important contributions in theory,but also are the continuous improvement and breakthrough process of his "Community Type Comparison Method".Most of the existing studies in the academic circles adopt the specialization orientation to study it.Although it has made great contributions,it makes Fei Xiaotong’s methods and strategies more ambiguous.This study is carried out from the perspective of long-term,whole process and integration,and tries to outline the methodology and methodology formed by Fei Xiaotong’s research for more than 60 years.From the perspective of theoretical dialogue,this paper explains Fei Xiaotong’s "way of understanding the world",so as to answer why he takes "community type comparison method" as a research way of understanding society.Taking Fei Xiaotong’s "Research from rural communities to small towns" as an example,this paper presents the strategy of "community type comparison method" in the research process,so as to answer why "Community Type Comparison Method" is more suitable for understanding Chinese society.Through the interpretation of these two aspects,we can understand the characteristics and significance of Fei Xiaotong’s methodology.Fei Xiaotong’s methods and strategies are reflected in three aspects: Firstly,respond to macro propositions at all levels in the research stage.Secondly,analyze the case in the macro structure and background.Thirdly,comparative strategies,comparisons between different types and different levels of community.Through the definition of situation,reflection and application of methods,as well as "Theoretical Test and Theoretical Construction" and other strategies to achieve "Knowledge growth".Therefore,through the embodiment of Fei Xiaotong’s research strategy,this paper answers the possibility of "Community Type Comparison Method" to understand Chinese society. |
