| In recent years,with the development of Chinese social economy and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,people are more and more concerned about the happiness of life.Fairness has become more and more popular.Many scholars have begun to pay attention to and study the relationship between educational inequality and happiness.Fair is increasingly used in evaluation of the concept of a moral standard of social system,directly linked to social value,the social public to social fairness and justice of concerns from income inequality gradually extended to the education inequality,the income gap between urban and rural areas,education inequality caused by social class are increasingly attracted extensive attention of the whole society.Education inequality will affect residents’education level,income level and occupation tendency,which will further affect residents’ subjective well-being.Education is the foundation of people’s livelihood,and educational equity is always linked to social equity and justice.It is of practical significance to study the impact of educational inequality on residents’ happiness.This paper combs the domestic and foreign research on educational inequality and personal happiness in detail,and most of the research focuses on the joint impact of economic factors and non-economic factors on happiness.This paper from the education opportunity inequality,inequality in education process,and the result of the education inequality in these three aspects are analyzed about the present situation of our country education inequality,concrete analysis is introduced several kinds of commonly used to measure the effectiveness of the education inequality index and applicability,choose education gini coefficient index quantitative education inequality,use the macro to micro match,the calculation of the provincial education inequality,Match to micro data;Second,the definition of residents’subjective well-being and its influencing factors in the introduction and analysis,think that self assessment of happiness and personal emotion,and is closely related to the evaluation of life events,and in the empirical research has certain reliability and validity,so this article namely self-assessment happiness is used to measure residents subjective well-being,Based on the analysis and discussion of many factors affecting residents’ subjective well-being and the influencing path,the research hypothesis is put forward.Finally,an empirical analysis was conducted using data from the China Household Tracking Survey(CFPS)in 2018.Descriptive statistical methods and ordered regression regression estimation were used to explore the impact of educational inequality on residents’ subjective well-being.Then the adjustment model is constructed to explore and study the influence of education level,income level,gender difference,party difference and hukou difference on residents’ happiness.The empirical results of this paper show that:at present,educational inequality has a significant negative impact on residents’ happiness,which will affect or even damage residents’ self-evaluation of happiness.For the groups with different levels of education,the group with low education level is more likely to produce the emotional self-cognitive evaluation of "unhappiness" than the group with high education level.The level of residents’ happiness may not depend on educational inequality itself,but on the inequality of residents’ education level and income indirectly affected by educational inequality.Educational inequality has a significant negative impact on the well-being of low-income groups.Educational inequality has no significant effect on the happiness of high-income groups.In terms of social status,educational inequality has a more significant impact on the happiness of the group with low social status than that of the group with high social status.In terms of gender differences,empirical results show that women are more likely to be unhappy than boys.In terms of political status,non-party members are more likely to be unhappy than party members.In terms of hukou differences,rural residents are more likely to be unhappy than non-rural residents. |
