The integration of mathematics history and mathematics education has become an important research field in mathematics education.The "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" repeatedly emphasizes the integration of mathematical culture into the curriculum content,and mathematical history is the main carrier of mathematical culture.Proper integration of mathematical history teaching is conducive to improving mathematical literacy and implementing the national requirements of establishing morality and cultivating people.The People’s Education A version of the senior high school mathematics textbook(2019 version)was officially implemented soon,and there is less applied research on the content of mathematics history based on the new textbook.Therefore,this article takes the content of mathematical history in the new senior high school mathematics textbook of People’s Education Version A as the research object,and uses literature analysis,text analysis,questionnaire survey,and interview methods to investigate the current situation of the application of mathematical history in the new textbook,in order to propose countermeasures to promote the integration of mathematical history into teaching in senior high school textbooks.Firstly,it discusses the theoretical basis of this article: the principle of historical occurrence,Friedenthal’s "re creation" theory,and explains relevant concepts.In order to better explore the application of mathematical history in the new textbook,analyze the distribution of mathematical history content,and summarize the characteristics of integrating mathematical history into the new textbook: the overall integration of mathematical history content in the new textbook of People’s Education Version A has increased;The theme distribution of mathematical history content is mainly based on functions;The history of mathematics is mainly concentrated in expanded columns and text narrative columns.A questionnaire survey was conducted among teachers and students from a high school in a city,and interviews were used as a supplement to the questionnaire.The survey conclusion on the application of the new high school mathematics textbook of the People’s Education A version in the history of mathematics was obtained.The positive aspects are:the level of mastering mathematical history knowledge integrated into textbooks is relatively high;Have a positive attitude towards the educational value of mathematical history and a willingness to incorporate mathematical history into mathematical teaching;Willing to incorporate mathematical history as a problem situation.The existing problems are: poor ability to expand and extend knowledge of mathematical history;There are few methods to integrate mathematical history into mathematical teaching;Integrating mathematical history is only limited to improving learning interest,ignoring the cognitive role of mathematical history;Influenced by the reality of taking exams,the fusion view of mathematics history and mathematics education is one-sided.Based on the problems found in the survey conclusions,this paper proposes countermeasures for the rational application of the mathematical history of the new high school mathematics textbook: strengthening the understanding and understanding of mathematical culture in the mathematics curriculum standards;Extend and expand the knowledge of mathematical history to improve the level of mathematical history knowledge;Adopt various methods of integrating mathematical history,and attach importance to the integration of reconstruction;Create problem situations by connecting relevant historical data of mathematical history;Participate in HPM training and seminars,and reflect on teaching practices;Study relevant cases of mathematical history integrated into textbooks to improve the ability to apply mathematical history;Change the concept of integration of mathematics history and mathematics education,and enhance the discipline education value of HPM.Finally,select two typical history of mathematics contents in the new textbook,one is "the concept of logarithm",the other is "the concept of complex number",and apply the proposed countermeasures to carry out teaching design.
