With the development of the times,core literacy,as the "key" of curriculum reform and the "source" of the new curriculum standards,has become a hot topic in current education.Its application in different subject education is student-centered,with moral education as the fundamental task,cultivating students’ comprehensive development,and guiding them to have the correct values.In the field of music,cultivating students’ core musical literacy is crucial and an indispensable part of music education.Through the study of core competencies,students realize the truth,goodness,and beauty,stimulate their inner potential,and aspire to a better life.The core literacy of music is closely related to the teaching of music singing,and it points out the direction for singing teaching in terms of aesthetic perception,artistic expression,creative practice,or cultural understanding.What is the relationship between core competencies and middle school music singing teaching?How are core competencies reflected in middle school music singing teaching?The core issue of this paper is how to develop and design teaching methods tailored to students through core competencies,change outdated and single teaching models in singing classroom practice,focus on cultivating students’ aesthetic perception ability,guide students to form unique emotional experiences in singing,and thereby improve the effectiveness of singing teaching.The article investigates and analyzes the singing ability of seventh grade students and the teaching ability of seventh grade teachers in the form of a survey questionnaire.Based on real data,it analyzes the singing ability of middle school students and the teaching ability of teachers.Starting from the perspective of core literacy,this study explores the teaching and learning of middle school music singing classrooms from the perspectives of teachers and students,and solves the problem of how teachers can enhance their professional literacy and guide students to enhance their core singing literacy in real middle school music singing classrooms.Through questionnaire survey analysis,the author takes the seventh grade music textbook as an example in practice,and conducts case studies on the singing songs in the Su Shao edition of the seventh grade textbook from three aspects:lyrical songs,ethnic songs,and dual voice songs.Centered around the middle school music singing classroom,the author puts his theoretical achievements into practice.Based on the teaching process of core competencies,propose teaching suggestions on the content and methods of middle school music singing teaching.
