Research On Post-Winter Olympics Utilization Of Beijing Ice Sports Training Base

Purpose of the study: In 2022,the Beijing Winter Olympics will be held in BeijingZhangjiakou.The Olympic legacy faces operational management challenges such as slow capital recovery,high maintenance cost and tedious post-management work after the games.The rational development and utilization of Olympic heritage can effectively solve the problems of asset loss and waste of resources,and promote the high-quality development of mass sports and build a higher level of public service system for national fitness.Therefore,as one of the Olympic heritage,the study on the subsequent utilization of Beijing Municipal Ice Sports Training Base can provide reference and reference for the sustainable utilization of other ice venues in China.Research method: This paper takes the post-competition utilization of the Beijing ice sports training base as the research object,and adopts literature,field survey,expert interview,SWOT analysis and case study method to explore the strategy of post-competition utilization of the Beijing ice sports training base,the main method is SWOT analysis,by examining the internal and external environmental factors of the Beijing ice sports training base(such as the location of the arena,area,facilities,utilization status,policies,market,etc.),The main method is SWOT analysis,through the analysis of internal and external environmental factors(such as location,area,facilities,utilization status,policies,market environment,etc.)of Beijing ice sports training base,to find out its advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges.Research results:1.the post-competition utilization plan of the Beijing ice sports training base lacks details and the scope of the plan is not comprehensive enough,resulting in its low operability.2.After the SWOT analysis of the utilization of the venues and the surrounding resources,it can be seen that the advantages of the Beijing ice sports training base are mainly reflected in the location,main body,venue facilities and the foundation of ice and snow tourism,while the disadvantages are reflected in the low utilization of the venues,the lack of a clear post-competition utilization plan,the dense competition venues,the inability to take into account the operation concept and the high operating costs afterwards.The opportunities are reflected in the country’s advocacy of opening public sports facilities to the public,the increasing demand for national fitness and popular sports culture,and China’s increased ability in hosting and organizing high-level international large-scale sports events,and the threats come from domestic and international competitive pressure and core talent issues.3.From the case study,the following insights were obtained: adopt new technologies to reduce costs,upgrade and improve facilities and provide quality services;carry out marketing activities to increase the visibility and influence of the base and subsequently introduce new services to further broaden the scope of the base’s services;promote seasonal activities and hold competitions to improve the competitive level and professionalism of the base.4.Combining the SWOT analysis of the arena and similar case analysis,we summarize the recommendations related to the subsequent utilization of the training base for ice sports in Beijing: we should realize the public welfare of the arena by serving the public fitness and strengthening the public service function,use the marketing mix and create special brands to enhance the utilization rate,influence and revenue of the arena,adopt modern information technology means,energy saving and emission reduction measures to innovate the management and operation mode and improve management efficiency.research conclusion:1.the post-competition utilization plan of the Beijing ice sports training base is yet to be improved.2.use the advantages of facilities to avoid operational disadvantages,respond to national policies,and accept market competition.3.use technology iteration to reduce the bottom operating cost and broaden the service scope through marketing.4.serve the public to promote public welfare,integrate the market to create benefits,and innovate technology to improve efficiency.
