| On July 24,2021,the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and other departments jointly issued the "Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off campus Training Burden of Students in Compulsory Education",requiring a comprehensive reduction in the total amount and duration of homework,reducing the heavy homework burden on students,and referring to the relevant provisions of this opinion for the management of subject training institutions targeting ordinary high and middle school students.The proposal of the "double reduction" policy has had a significant impact on education and teaching work.High school geography teachers must comply with the requirements of the times,actively take effective measures,continuously optimize and improve the design of homework after class,design scientific and efficient geography homework based on the actual situation of students,and ensure that students complete efficient learning of geography knowledge in high-quality homework.This study is based on the relevant requirements of the "double reduction" policy,and on the basis of humanistic learning theory,the principle of teaching students according to their aptitude,the theory of the zone of recent development,and the theory of multiple intelligences.It uses the literature research method to define the relevant concepts in this study.Using a questionnaire survey method,this study investigated the current situation of high school geography homework design in the context of the "double reduction" policy,and analyzed the problems and causes of homework design in senior one and senior two students in their internship schools,as well as front-line geography teachers in various regions.In response to the above problems,this paper proposes optimization measures for high school geography homework design in the context of "double reduction".The optimization measures include: establishing correct homework design goals,optimizing the quality and quantity of homework design;Strengthen teachers’ concept of homework design and enhance their ability to design homework;Designing geography homework by layers and innovating the form of homework;With a development perspective,we attach importance to the supervision of geography homework design,and on this basis,we have designed after-school homework design cases for the academic qualification examination stage and the academic level test stage,with a view to improving the effectiveness of geography homework design in senior high schools and promoting students’ core literacy in geography. |
