Homework is an important part of teaching,and it is the consolidation and extension of classroom teaching.For a long time,under the influence of examination-oriented education,China’s education industry has had the problem of excessive homework burden of students and serious "involution" of learning.With the promotion of the "double reduction" policy,in order to change the problems of students’ low interest in learning and excessive learning burden in completing homework,teachers still have many problems in assigning homework,such as single functional cognition of homework,homework design ability and single homework evaluation method.In view of the above problems,in line with the core concepts of homework design of "reducing homework burden","improving homework quality" and "promoting students’ comprehensive,full,free and harmonious development",it is necessary to adopt the optimization strategy of "reducing burden","improving quality",innovating and enriching homework forms,innovating homework evaluation,and promoting the integration of "teaching-homework-evaluation".Among them,"burden reduction" includes reducing students’ objective homework burden,such as reducing the number of homework,optimizing the quality of homework,reasonably controlling the difficulty of homework,and strengthening the pertinence of design,etc.,but also reducing students’ subjective homework burden,such as enhancing the interest of the situation,attaching importance to the practicality of design,etc.;Among them,"quality improvement" mainly refers to the cultivation of students’ high-level thinking and ability,including critical thinking,creative thinking,communication skills and interpersonal cooperation skills.Based on the operation optimization strategy under the guidance of the core concept of operation design under the background of "double reduction",it is necessary to reflect on the traditional operation system and reshape and optimize the structure,and innovate in both the basic form of operation design and the innovative form of operation design.Among them,the basic forms include both basic homework,such as pre-class preparatory homework and afterclass consolidation homework,as well as personalized hierarchical homework;Innovative forms include integrated assignments such as interdisciplinary integration and integration within the curriculum,as well as diversified assignments such as performance,expressive assignments,social practice assignments,and interesting imaginative assignments.In order to verify the effectiveness and practicality of the optimization strategy homework discussion,the empirical effect evaluation was carried out in the Chinese classroom of the second grade of S and N middle schools,and the students’ homework satisfaction before and after the "double reduction" was investigated.The survey results show that the rich forms of homework and the reduction of the number of homework after the "double reduction" have reduced students’ learning burden,and students’ interest in learning has been improved to a certain extent.However,the design of language homework under the background of "double reduction" still has difficulties such as "how to balance test scores and temperament" and "how to provide teachers with more accurate homework training guidance and reduce the burden of teachers",which still requires front-line language teachers and education researchers to carry out all-round and systematic optimization and discussion in future teaching and research.
