Purposes:In recent years, due to the high academic pressure and heavy learning burden of high school students, their mental health has declined, resulting in some mental health problems.Cognitive flexibility is a cognitive processing strategy. It is the ability of people to produce or change the way of reaction according to the changing needs of the situation when facing certain situations. It is very important for the mental health development of high school students. Therefore,it is necessary to improve the cognitive flexibility of high school students. Some studies have shown that motor skill exercises have a significant impact on people ’s cognitive flexibility, and in the existing research, both open and closed motor skill exercises have a certain impact on people ’s cognitive flexibility, but there is no clear research on whether open and closed motor skill exercises can have a positive impact on students ’ cognitive flexibility.Compared with closed motor skill practice, whether open motor skill practice has a greater impact on students ’ cognitive flexibility.Researchers have not yet concluded that further research is needed to explore the impact of open and closed motor skill practice on cognitive flexibility. Therefore, this study will reveal which kind of sports skill practice is more conducive to improving students ’cognitive flexibility and the learning effect of basketball skills through the open and closed sports skill practice in basketball, and provide an effective reference for the basketball module teaching in high school physical education in the future. Methods:A two-factor mixed design of 2(test time:before and after practice)X 2(group:open motor skill practice and closed motor skill practice)was used to select 40 boys from the basketball module option class of a senior middle school in Changzhou. They were randomly divided into 2 groups(open motor practice group and closed motor practice group). Each group of 20 people conducted an 8-week exercise intervention. The intervention content was:the open motor practice group performed a half-court basketball game practice of four people and a group of half-court basketball offense and defense conversion exercises, and the closed motor practice group performed fixed-point shooting exercises within the three-point line and full-court fixed markers. The subjects ’ cognitive flexibility and basketball skills were evaluated before and after the experiment. The Stroop color classification test was used to detect the cognitive flexibility of the subjects, and the basketball skills of the subjects were detected by using one-minute self-throwing self-robbing shooting and half-court V-shaped dribbling. Results:Before and after both open and closed motor skills,The simple effect analysis shows that,Significant differences between the group factors[F(1,38)=19.78,P<0.01,η2p=0.34],Significant differences in time factors[F(1,38)=105.04,P<0.01,η2p=0.73],The interaction effect of group time was significant[F(1,38)=18.28,P<0.01,η2p=0.33];Reducredecreased before and after testing in the open and closed motor skills practice groups,The simple effect analysis shows that,Group factors had a significant effect[F(1,38)=4.13,P<0.05,η2p=0.10],A significant effect of the time factor[F(1,38)=136.51,P<0.01,η2p=0.78],The interaction effect of group time was significant[F(1,38)=10.18,P<0.05,η2p=0.21].The number of self-shot and self-shot in the open and closed motor skill exercise group increased,The simple effect analysis shows that,Group factors were not significantly different[F(1,38)=3.81,P>0.05,η2p=0.09],However,significant differences in temporal factors[F(1,38)=42.16,P<0.01,η2p=0.53],The interaction effect of group time was significant[F(1,38)=6.07,P<0.05,η2p=0.14];Open and locked sports skills exercise group before and after the right hand V dribble layup time are reduced,The simple effect analysis shows that,No significant effect of group factors[F(1,38)=4.03,P>0.05,η2p=0.10],However,there has a significant effect[F(1,38)=113.57,P<0.01,η2p=0.75],The interaction effect of group time was significant[F(1,38)=12.31,P<0.05,η2p=0.25].Conclusions:(1)Both open and closed motor skills exercises can improve the cognitive flexibility of high school students.Compared with closed motor skills exercises, open motor skills exercises are more conducive to improving the cognitive flexibility of high school students.(2)Both open and closed sports skills exercises are conducive to improving the learning effect of basketball skills of high school students.Compared with closed sports skills exercises, open sports skills exercises are not more conducive to improving the learning effect of basketball skills of high school students.
