| Social history is an important branch of history,which is the sum total of various activities and corresponding things and processes that humans engage in.It explores the changes of the entire human society with the theme of "people" in society.With the advancement of the new round of curriculum reform,social history content is receiving increasing attention in history teaching.The latest "History Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)" issued by the Ministry of Education points out that history courses should be tailored to students’ actual lives,enable students to reveal the laws of human social development through historical learning,and be able to care about the development and destiny of the country from a historical perspective,This poses a challenge to the teaching work of front-line history teachers.Therefore,in history teaching,it is necessary to guide students to pay attention to social reality issues,and achieve the task of establishing morality and cultivating people while experiencing social progress and changes.This not only helps to promote their comprehensive and healthy physical and mental development,but also provides talent reserves for the socialist modernization construction.Based on relevant research,this article comprehensively uses literature research,case analysis,and interviews to explore history teaching in senior high schools,using the2020 revised version of the new history curriculum as the basis,and the optional compulsory course 2,Economic and Social Life,as the research carrier.The full text consists of five chapters: The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly outlines the reasons for choosing this topic and the significance of the research.Through literature collection and sorting out the existing achievements of domestic and foreign research on integrating social history into history classroom teaching in senior high schools,it summarizes the concept definition of social history,and expounds the research methods and innovations of this article.The second chapter discusses the necessity of social history in high school history teaching based on the curriculum standards and the investigation of social history content in the college entrance examination in the past five years.The third chapter analyzes the content of social history in Selective Compulsory Course 2 and sorts out the content of social history in the textbook.In order to increase the credibility of the research,this article conducted a questionnaire survey of students and interviews with frontline history teachers in Chapter 4,focusing on the content of social history,in order to understand the actual situation of social history in history teaching,and identified the problems existing in the current teaching of social history through the analysis results.Chapter 5 is the focus of this article.Based on the problems found in the previous research,this chapter proposes some feasible strategies and suggestions for the current high school history teaching in combination with the content of the optional compulsory course 2,"Economic and Social Life.".High school is a time when students’ value orientations have greatly changed.The study of social history helps students form correct historical understanding and values,and in the process,improve their historical thinking abilities.Inspired by the historical mission inspired by social history education,students can better integrate history with real life,learn from history,understand history,and strive to advance,thereby establishing a correct outlook on history,life,and values. |
