With the implementation of the new curriculum reform,the curriculum standards for high school history have also been correspondingly changed.In classroom teaching,more attention has been paid to the cultivation of core literacy in the history discipline,and the teaching of social life history plays an important role in cultivating students’ core literacy abilities.The history of social life occupies a relatively important position in the new textbooks,and textbooks with a special topic of social life history have emerged.The history of social life mainly focuses on the daily lives of ordinary people,so in teaching,students should be guided to observe and interpret people’s daily lives from a micro perspective.In the process of history teaching,attention should also be paid to the cultivation of students’ historical materialism,spacetime concepts,and feelings of family and country.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the current situation,problems,and countermeasures of the teaching of social life history in middle school history education from the perspective of core literacy in the history discipline.The main content of this article includes the following parts:Firstly,introduce the concept of social life history and understand the relationship between social life history and real life;Then,it analyzes the importance of social life history in history teaching in middle schools from several aspects,such as historical concepts,historical thinking abilities,and teachers’ teaching level.This article explores the relationship between social life history and history curriculum standards in combination with history textbooks,and explores the necessity of better teaching social life history in history teaching.Secondly,through questionnaires and teacher interviews,we investigated the application of social life history in history teaching in a middle school.The questionnaire mainly surveys students’ understanding of social life history,the learning content of social life history,and the learning effect.The teacher interview mainly aims to understand teachers’ views on social life history,analyze the problems existing in the teaching of social life history,and better understand the current teaching situation and existing problems of social life history in middle school history education.Finally,it analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of social life history in middle schools and proposes corresponding solutions to improve the teaching effectiveness of social life history.Changing teaching concepts is the key to teaching social life history.Teachers need to pay attention to historical trends,change teaching methods,continuously improve teacher literacy,and make full use of various teaching resources.In addition,students also need to change their learning concepts and actively learn social life history,in order to achieve the goal of emphasizing social life history and improve the teaching effectiveness of social life history.
