In 2014,The State Council issued the Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System,which started a new round of college entrance examination reform.In the first half of 2019,Jiangsu Province joined the third batch of pilot reforms and adopted the "3+1+2" model of the new college entrance examination scheme,and high school biology quickly became a popular elective course for students.In 2020 and 2022,the Ministry of Education promulgated the biology curriculum standards for regular high schools and compulsory education,respectively,to provide guidance for biology teaching in junior and senior high schools.The teaching connection between junior high school and senior high school is a subject that all courses must face.This paper studies the teaching connection between junior high school and senior high school biology courses,grasp the current situation of biology teaching connection between junior high school and senior high school and junior high school biology teaching connection,and seeks higher quality cohesion measures in view of the existing problems in the connection.First of all,through questionnaire survey and teacher interview,we understand the biology teaching situation of junior and senior high schools,and grasp the main problems existing in the connection of junior high school biology teaching under the background of the new college entrance examination.Research shows that after junior high school students enter senior high school,their interest in learning biology decreases and their willingness to actively learn biological knowledge is not strong.Only half of the students are willing to take biology as the subject of college entrance examination and choose a major related to biology.The results of teacher interviews show that senior high school biology teachers have stronger subjective initiative and better material basis than junior high school teachers in the connection of biology teaching.However,due to the limited communication opportunities of junior and senior high school teachers,the connection effect of middle school biology teaching is not ideal.According to the survey,the current teaching cohesion practice mainly has problems such as low interest of students,poor learning methods,inadequate implementation of curriculum standards,limited interpretation materials related to curriculum standards cohesion,less communication between junior and senior high school teachers,scarce experience in teaching cohesion and greater pressure on teachers under the background of the new college entrance examination.Secondly,taking the biology curriculum.standards of junior and senior high schools as the research object,the paper discusses the connection between them in four aspects:curriculum nature,curriculum philosophy,curriculum objectives and curriculum content.In terms of the nature of the curriculum,biology in junior and senior high schools,as a basic science course,is advanced in learning content,scientific thinking and course learning significance.In terms of curriculum concept,"curriculum design reconnection" and "learning theme as framework" are unique to junior high school curriculum concept,among which"curriculum design reconnection" is an important basis for this study.At the level of curriculum objectives,the goal of biology courses in junior and senior high schools is to cultivate students’ core qualities,and gradually deepen and improve the training requirements.In terms of curriculum content,the biology curriculum standards of junior and senior high schools all present the curriculum content in the form of concepts.There are 11 important concepts in the compulsory part of senior high school,which are connected with 16 subconcepts in junior high school.Finally,based on the investigation and interview and the analysis of curriculum standards,the thesis designs teaching connection cases and proves that the teaching connection cases are feasible and effective through teaching practice.The case design of the theoretical course "The Principle and Application of Cell respiration"(class 2)was taken as the practical research content,and the teaching experiment was carried out in two parallel classes in Grade 1,Grade 1.The average score of students in the experimental class was significantly higher than that in the control class.The comparative analysis of statistical data further proves that it is of practical significance to link biology teaching in junior and senior high schools.In addition,in view of the existing problems in teaching cohesion,a series of teaching suggestions are put forward,including building a good knowledge framework for students,expanding students’horizons,strengthening the implementation of curriculum standards,sorting out and distributing teaching cohesion materials,building subject communities,and attaching importance to teaching evaluation,so as to help junior and senior high school teachers effectively implement teaching cohesion and help students adapt to the requirements of the new college entrance examination.By means of questionnaire survey,teacher interview and other methods,this paper studies the connection of biology teaching in junior and senior high schools under the background of the new college entrance examination,aiming to find out the methods and paths of biology teaching connection in junior and senior high schools through practical exploration,so as to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for biology teaching connection in junior and senior high schools,and promote the continuous development and improvement of teaching connection theory in biology teaching in senior high school.To better guide students to construct the framework of biology knowledge and achieve the "continuous" cultivation of the core literacy of biology.
