As the education reform continues to progress,how to strengthen the comprehensive quality of high school students,especially to strengthen the mental health education of high school students,has become a hot issue of concern in the education sector.The two environments that high school students come into closest contact with are the family and the school,which requires the joint efforts of the family and the school to pay attention to the mental health of students.Home-school cooperation refers to a two-way interaction between home and school in order to promote the common goal of student development.In home-school work,psychology teachers,as professionals,can help families and schools to better share educational resources,identify and solve children’s psychological problems in a timely manner and protect their psychological health.It is this phenomenon that this study has investigated.Research aims: to investigate the status of high school psychology teachers’ participation in home-school cooperation,to analyse the problems and dilemmas of high school psychology teachers’ participation in home-school cooperation,and to explore the paths and strategies of high school psychology teachers’ participation in home-school cooperation.Methodology: This study used a combination of questionnaires and interviews to conduct a questionnaire survey of 200 high school psychology teachers and in-depth interviews with 16 high school psychology teachers.Findings: The causes of the dilemmas of high school psychology teachers’ participation in home-school cooperation include: weakness of psychology teachers’ teachers’ qualifications,insufficient attention to participate in home-school cooperation by psychology teachers,insufficient attention to participate in home-school cooperation by psychology teachers in schools,poor communication between psychology teachers and parents,psychology teachers’ refusal to take responsibility,limited theoretical and practical level of home-school cooperation by psychology teachers,and insufficient participation in home-school cooperation by parents.Based on this,this study recommends: securing a team of teachers for mental health education;optimising the content of cooperation and innovating the form of cooperation;strengthening teacher training on cooperation and enhancing professional cooperation skills;awareness of psychology teachers’ communication with parents;psychology teachers helping to transform parents’ educational philosophy of home-school cooperation;and summarising excellent practices and setting up exemplary examples.
